I dont know if anything has changed since I ordered, but they were dropshipping and my order came from Hong Kong and NOT the USA. (took 5 weeks to get to Edmonton, Canada)
As well, all of my questions regarding whether they shipped from US or not, or were simply drop shipping for Success/Lik Sang were completely ignored.
I got an xg2 2005 turbo 512 from them, had nothing but problems (and in the end most of them were with XG/NeoFlash software not working quite right with my motherboard.. ??)- I doubt any of them were directly IC2005's fault, but it did turn out to be a badly soldered component on the PCB of the cart that caused my problems.
1- took 2 weeks to ship, apparently DHL did not get my address properly (in hong kong) even though they were supplied with the correct one (according to IC2005)
2- no tracking was provided until the package was REALLY late (3-4 weeks after it was supposed to ship)
3- due to the address problems, the package went to Vancouver wrather than Edmonton, although DHL simply had it couriered here within 24 hours of arriving in Vancouver.
4- once I had the cart in hand, it did not work right (what was wrote to the cart is not what could be read off the cart). After a few emails to IC2005, it was quite apparent that after paying that much for it they would not consider the possibility that there were problems with it (kept on telling me it was my motherboard when the motherboard and the PCI USB card I have are ENTIRELY separte controllers for USB).
my resolution to the problem: I whipped out my soldering iron, vowed to piss on their name, and fixed it myself (so much for warranties). No more XG products for me if this is what I can expect, thanks but no-thanks. Anyone want a XG 512 + slim3, that is (now) working right (or perhaps better than origional)?
