you were asking for it, the way you were posting before.. saying Dr. Neo wont get his products sold in the future?.. tsk tsk

again, you're talking about a product, which have yet to be released.. so you can't say its "oh so good", hmm?  8)

I don't give a **** about a company name.. all I care about, is the actual result, and the final product

"ninjads" doesn't look very promising so far.. the site is far from finished; actually it looks like something my littlebrother could do better  ??? ... IMO it doesn't look like they give much about promotion really..

Furthermore, the neoflash-team and thier products, are minded towards the homebrew-community.. and thier MK2/3, Neo-Max and whatsoever are only getting better, proven by this post.. so, what is -your- problem really?

sorry Its hard to take you seriously when your english is so crummy.

How does saying something else is better help anyone.  Just leave this thread so we can concentrate on the new menu issues.

So compatability is up ?

Im gonna try it out.

So compatability is up ?

They say its better on the MK3 inner flashzone -- I haven't experienced any diffrence on the MK2 Direct SD support yet =/ .. however, it seems to be dumping games faster?

Donīt understand what itīs happening. No game saves!. I have Neoflash 1Gb + MK3. Two old Silver DSīs.
I put the menu 0.6 like always(0.4 0.5 ..) and canīt save in any game. From SD doesnīt save and only a few roms load. From Neo canīt save. too many games crash loading when have to create the savegame, and the few ones who load canīt save and crash. From mk3 doesnīt run.
With old 0.4menu the games from mk3 loadīs a great % of they but now with 0.6 no. Itīs possible that my mk3 is crashed?.
For Example Super princess peach USA doesnīt run from any of the 3 posibilities. Mario Luigi EUR the same doesnīt load. zoo tycoon crash saving. yu gi oh canīt save. dragon z ball 0304(eur) doensīt load only the intro. Thank you :)

yeh I checked it for myself and I still cant get mario and luigi or animal crossing to work.  O well at least progress is being made.  Seems to be an improved 0.5 ie the saving works.

Yeah, rom compatibility on the SD card is basically the same (you may possibly notice a slight speed increase, though, on certain roms).

The promising news is that the testers literally went through all the commercial roms out there and provided a report whether they booted (and were then playable) or couldn't boot at all from the SD card.  Hopefully, the coders can use this information to improve the patching routines, compatibility, speed, etc...

XDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXD

You must be a big A S S H O L E to say that. See it in action?? ?? It's made by a respectable scene company, and because it's very simple, wont have  any of problem neoflash does.

By the way that people say it's almost  finished: it wasnt supossed to be known yet (it was maxconsole fault), they had planned to make it public when it's finished, IN LESS THAN TWO MONTHS

WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE TO TELL ME TO SHUT UP?!?!?

I DONT KNOW THE REASON OF THAT COMMENT, BUT YOU CANT TREAT PEOPLE LIKE THAT

I ALWAYS SAY PEOPLE LIKE YOU ARE LIKE THAT BECAUSED YOU HAD A BAD CHILDHOOD, WITH NO FRIENDS OR FREAK ONES, AND NOW YOU WRITE LIKE THAT TO GET A "FAKE HAPPYNESS".

An advice: GO TO THE PSYCHOLOGIST AND SHUT YOU UP!!!!!!!!!!

Are you done complaining yet??  If you are so dissatisfied with neoflash, then why don't you sell yours, buy another product, and stop posting here?? (which would save you time as well)

One reason people react negatively towards you is that you use that LARGE annoying text.... If you have a reasonable question, it will get answered (there are more people here now to help than before, when cory was doing everything....)

You are entitled to your opinions, as long as you treat others in a generally respectable manner (as opposed to juvenile name calling)

If you are posting primarily to bash neoflash products/users, then that's not adding any value to the board (and that doesn't help any of the others who are coming here for help with their mk1/mk2/mk3)

How sad is that... I always find it amusing when people think so little of themselves that they need to use a public forum to prove what a ***** they really are.

Dr. Neo menu 6 beta 1 shows the promise of the Mk3 keep going.  I think at the end of all this people in other products forums will be saying why didnt we go with the MK3...

Format the SD card again, re-load all the clean dumps onto the card, re-flash menu .6 beta 1 onto your cart, and try that...

Re-loading everything from scratch may possibly fix the problem....

ayuh, it often does. Also, try selecting a save file and loading it directly before trying to run something.

Anyone else with a MK3 512+128 or MK3 64+32 having problems loading a menu to the menuflash?

Bruce: does your Mk3 64 take the menu flash OK? (mine froze at 0%, the 512 froze at 44%, light stays on)

Cory1492,
Thank you so much for providing the .gba version of the menu.
The version with the prepended nds loader (.gba) is the only one that works on my Flash2Advance Pro cart, the regular .nds version does not work , even when renamed.
How did you manage to prepend the loader ? Did you just use a generic loader or is there some hacking involved ?
I am asking because if future versions of the menu will be only available in nds format I might as well trash my F2A...
By the way, I know that this is the wrong place to discuss this, but I am gettin crazy to find a replacemant battwery for my F2A(not ultra), which should be one of those CR2025 with welded tabs or pins attacched(not rechargable), and I can't find it nowhere in the world!!! The regular batteries without pins do not work, no matter what.
Did you ever come across such a problem before ? If you ever heard anything about it I would really appreciate it if you could provide some info.
Anyway I am glad that progress is being made, and the new menu looks really neat.
Compatibility still leaves a lot to be desired, but it's also getting very promising.
Thank you.

Attached is a .gba cart version, tested working with F2A powerwriter compatible carts and EZ client compatible carts (DSBuild was used to make this version) - should work with any cart writer that does not modify the header.
Does it work with ezf advance (realtime )???

Yes, it does... at least with the latest two beta versions (flashing back and forth between those versions).  I wouldn't be surprised, though, if there were still some problems (one user reported flashing his menu, and then his ds would white screen every time he booted).  That happened to me with A9 I think.

No not really... You may notice a slight speed increase (reduced loading) with a few roms, but it's basically the same as before.  As I mentioned in a post above, we provided a complete report to the coders (testing all commercial roms on the sd card), so hopefully that will help them fix the problems.
