Uptime DS (v0.1) by Freemaan [freemaan@gmail.com]
..::Description::.. I created this app to test energy-consumption of different cards and batteries.
..::How to use::.. If you are using a DSLite, next to the "Enable light" option you can set the light level (set to "-" if you are using a normal DS). You can set the SRAM saving interval (1 min or 5 mins). GBA Slot, DS Slot and the battery options don't have real function, these are only for logging purposes When you press the START button the saving will start and you can close the lid if you want.
..::Saving::.. It saves the previous bechmark to the SRAM, so be careful, everything in there will be erased when you press the START button! Saving to CF/SD doesn't work yet.
..:Tested with::.. -WiFiMe (works great, if a GBA cart with SRAM inserted) -Flash2Advance Pro (works great) -M3 CF (works great) -SuperCard SD (works, but the save in SRAM losts soon after turnoff) -DeSmuME (doesn't work, because of no RTC emulation) Unfortunately I don't have a MK 2/3 so I can't tell wether it will work or not. ..::Version history::.. -0.1 - initial release ..::Known bugs::.. -Rarely when you press start, it freezes.
..::Todo list::.. -Fix saving to CF/SD card -Increase the battery strain somehow
Enjoy!
..::Screenshots::..   -------------------------- Created using PALib.

You can add M3 CF version to your tested with section. I am running it now, it works perfectly fine (tried the ds.gba version).

Very nice (and bug-free) app, I voted for it! The battery monitoring function is great!

Wanted to let the author know about a small bug I saw.
I grabbed this app to test it out on my DS Phat w/ Max Media Launcher, M3 SD Slim and A-Data 4 GB SD card... for the most part, it works wonderfully. It saves data appropraitely, and a worthwhile tester of mod combos. I'd definitely like to see a list set up somewhere so users could report there findings with this.
On to the noted bug:
It seems that midnight (internal to the DS at least) has caused "elapsed time" to dissapear. ...well, dissapear for the most part. It seems that whenever a 0 exists in the elapsed time, that will display for however long it's placement allows it to (Such as for one second if it's the one's second, and ten minutes if it's in the tens of minutes slot.).
Also, as a side note, I didn't see that Midnight was the actuall time that the system was unable to properly display the elapsed time, but it's a decent guess as to the culprit.
Heh, several hours later... when I plugged the DS in to check it's uptime, I got 244 hours, 205 minutes, and 249 seconds.
I retested the app later, so that midnight wouldn't be hit, and it seemed to work appropriatley. 6 hours and 20 minutes?
Wonderful app. I hope you win something for this!
