Hmmm.That's a tough one.
Part of me says"Yeah, thats not right"in the grand scheme of the Compo.

Another part of me says"AAAGH!!!A stable version!YES!!"

So I don't know about that one.Tough call.

One way or another, the Gamers win.....

^^ hehe nice one. Perhaps i gonna make some bugfixes too for those who are interessted in..but i will put in another link. And personally i think most had tested before and its just one ugly bug which should be away if u ask me(perhaps she corrected more). So the game isnt changed (perhaps the difficult-level) So i think its ok. I mean like rogerpoco said:

Well the reason I ask is because I saw a comment by a judge in another thread who said no-no to updates.
And I mean if one version crashes all the time while the other doesnt, And it was fixed after the compo ended it's just very unfair to the people who never  updated their original submission (OFC this is just if the judges get the updated version)
And if they have the first compo entry files I dont care, its just good for the people who wants to test I guess =)
peace

I assumed the judges already have my entry.
They should not judge the current one.

I'm updating the game for my players :)

I have finally completed the awaited saving system on Tales of Dagur.
It will save to any FAT compatible device such as the GBAMP or the MK2/3.

Download it HERE

You say that it is for your players (may be you should say the players of your game, not "your" players), but you are influencing the public's votes too.

A lot of games could be updated (mine first), but we won't upload our updated games before the end of the compo.

For me it sounds like cheating, by influencing the votes.
You had the same time to post your game as the others.
So the public have to vote with this version, not your new version.

If you were not able to propose a bugfree version, do with it and wait the end of the compo.

Aaaahhhh,I'm not a judge.
That was only my opinion.

I think the judges can handle judging what they are supposed to,and I wouldn't be surprised if they have not seen updates at all.

Cheers!!
