Well yeah, tho what bothers me most is the lack of credits. seems like people like to put that part in alot of gray shades.
_always_ give credit to the original creator.
once again, this is from a guy who doesnt code but do graphics =) so please yell out if you think I am being unfair.
peace

Dance'n Shoot is the one I had more fun with, so my vote goes for:

My game CuTrIx was made one month ago.  ???
If neoflash made the votes in the first "Dead line" maybe CuTrIx haved more votes.

Although I recognize that the game of LiraNuna is good.

But CuTrIx is the best 3D game of the compo.  ::sm-05::

I'd like to remind everyone that the judges deside how many points the entries get. Not you (generally reffering to everyone else that is not a judge), so it's pointless to complain that ToD shouldn't get points for gfx. And besides, don't try to mock ToD if you (again, not pointing finger at a specific person) don't have skills to do better games. Everyone had the same opportunity to use public gfx, if you didn't... well... that's your problem. And I know that LiraNuna and couple others used *loads* of time to make ToD. I was working on the maps and let me tell you, it wasn't just "zOMG! <5 minutes of work> Done". So people, try to behave.

Some people try to convince that their game are the best or that it is a big work, so they have to win.

I think it is completely useless. Only the game can convince (and I repeat: not only the gfx, even if it is very important, it doesn't make a game. And I don't tell this about a particular game).

But if you feel that your games need long words in order to convince they are good games, so do it.

Some very good games here don't need this

You call Cutrix's 3D graphics "nice"? It's just some cubes with vertex colors!
Even i can do the same game within a day! (and i don't know 3D!)

Also, have you noticed the size of the binary? almost 1.5MB! I coded a ~3MB game which has much much more! (are they using 16bit images? that's n00bish...)

Some posts here begin to be stupids and aggressives...

This compo is a great place to make our games known by a more big number of people, and to make known some talents.

Ok, it is a compo with a XBox to win, but please, stop to fight like little children.

 >:( really interesting. So VicepokerDS (15MB) is far better than your game, following what you say?

Please stop posting so senseless comments, it's really useless.

LiraNuna, don't be so ****y... RPGs are the most basic types of game, even platformers are more complex --;;

EDIT: the **** is a synonym of proud... unfortunately it got removed because it's also a male genital organ :p

No, i meant look how much is compressed inside 3MB.
15MB file is WAAY too big FOR A POCKER GAME!. Retail RPGs are ~16MB. so think again.

Then try to fit 25 minutes of full motion video and one digitized song in 16megabytes yourself.

The poker game uses full motion video is what he's saying, hence the 15 megs. Definitely not PAlib's or the programmer's fault.

Also: Not a SNES/GBA compo.

Show me one game entry which didn't use PAlib and i'll shut up (except mine ofcourse)

Our entry doesn't use PALib nor NDSlib all code is my own.
