I also didn't know about this competition until it's too late.  Otherwise, I'll definitely compete with my latest version of iR Shell.  Good luck to all of you.  Now, it's my time to vote.

PSPosx is neat, but its really nothing useful, it has a few novelty items like a paint program, but honestly its nothing original or new,
AFKim get my vote because its a damn good program, its original, true, there are already other IM programs out there, but this is the first one i know of that can be useful because it use msn and aim etc, unlike others that just rely on jabba or something just as useless.
it has to be the most useful app in the real world in the comp.

good luck danzel, and others going to vote, i sugest you try them all out, not give your vote to the most prettiest looking one, but the one that serves a real purpose.

Sorry, but i disagree, firstly the lack of easy keyboard input on the psp is a big problem, it takes 5 mins just to figure out how to say anything
the other prob is the lack of wireless acces points away from home - i don't know about where you are, but anywhere near me has WEP encrytion - and not useful.

nice app - but in practice, not feasible for use

NB: i have used it while at the toilet :P

Daurni, i disagree, danzel is acutally working on a "custom" osk right now to cater for the many, people ( IE. Me and you. ) that are angry at p-sprint...

 >:( WIFI!!! Whats wrong with wep keys, go to the persons house and ask them for the wep key, if they say no, u shouldnt be stealing their internet in the first place, its beyond unethical, besides any family that can afford a $400 psp, can usually afford a $100 router. ( AU prices... )

Danzel's app should definatly win, its the ONLY Legit entry, besides OSX, but all the PSPUPDATES supporters go Danzel, cuz um, its not PSP Crazy?

Lol...

Defining Legit Entry: """A legit entry in my eyes, would be one that is CREATED from scratch, preferably with a UNIQUE idea, ( so no OSX ) , it should NOT be a update of an allready released program, and it should NOT be a pointless port that will NOT be supported, stfu silly emulators. It should be a unique creation, that has a "unforseen" ability, and brings great potential to the scene. I am against the "updates" being able to enter, thats just suss... """

Yeh well vote for who you want, my vote goes to Danzel, our WiFi king!

Ok you just knocked out afkim in your definition of a legit app. It is not unique, as jabber does nearly everything afkim can.

Theres not really much point you guys arguing, you've already made your votes and you can't change em.
An argument between a PSPosx dev and a danzel fanboy isn't going to end in one side winning either lol! It's like a religious war.

I think the projects are unique: PSPJabber is a jabber client that can't get on gtalk (afaik. gtalk needs ssl), afkim doesn't (without external help) allow you onto any jabber networks except gtalk.
Neither of them can get on the same network under normal use. (yes I know jabber has the jabber -> icq etc transports and afkim uses bitlbee so you could manually add an account on a normal jabber server).

If a project really had to be unique on the psp to enter, we'd have 1 entry: Titan Homebrew Manager. (well possibly etch a sketch aswell, its quite close to the paint programs though)
Every other project here has an alternative on the psp, although for some of the alternatives (Chuck Norris fact viewer), you'd need to use the PSPs web browser to get to a website that offers the same service.
