>but only GBA and SP can use the GBC flash cart even it's GBA cart size,GBM and NDS can't use it

I would have liked you to know there was such demand, too though it was a specification imagined easily.

I think it is wonderful because it is operated without choosing the environment if "Hardware emulation" is performed in the cartridge.

I think that it imagines the best environment that operates GB/GBC is "GBASP backlight version" easily.
But, GBASP of Japan is not a backlight type.

It is necessary to lecture on means of import at either of stage to obtain the GBASP backlight version in Japan. Moreover, it becomes more expensive as a result.

Though it is the best if Nintendo puts "GBASP backlight version" on the market in Japan.

The NES/FAMICOM really needs a flash cart more than any other system. There are some DIY kits out there, but never has there been a NES flash cart due to all the MMC's. I think it would be a waste for a GB/GBC kit from NEO due to the GB/GBC had many copiers and Flash carts and as Dr. Neo said "you can use the GB/GBC emu to run the GB/GBC games on the GBA console." I already have a GB/GBC Flash kit. The GB Xchanger and 64M card.

*EDIT*
Here is one DIY NES kit. The "Funky Flash Cart"
http://ameba.lpt.fi/~hataarto/nes/
But most people do not have the knowlege or skill to build these DIY kits.

I'm gonna have to agree with you there GameCopierUser0666...  I have a GBA FA Bridge right in front of me, as well as a F2A card plugged into it currently.  If I really wanted to, I could flash that F2A card and bust out all the GB/GBC games that I wanted, but I don't have much of a use for it at all, due to no system that plays GB/GBC games currently.  Sure, I have a couple original mono GB systems packed away (the really big ones that first came out), but my GBA SP and my GBA both became mostly defunct when the GBA SP came out.  Someday I might want to go retro with those systems, but in the meantime, it really seems like too much of a hastle for too little reward.

The idea of a NES flashcart however...  Well, I was doing some research the other day, and I came across a device for the NES that never really lasted, although it did come out, and it was fully working, from what I understand...

The device worked by having ALL of the NES chips in one regular NES cart size, but it had a slot in that where you could put in littler games (the size of a GB cart I'm supposing).  The system was supposed to make it so the games could be sold cheaper, because you wouldn't need to buy new chips every time you bought a game, and instead you'd only have to buy the program on a little game.

The device was called "The Aladdin Game Enhancer".  Some details of how this device worked are on a site --hxxp://www.nesplayer.com/features/aladdin/aladdin.htm -- change the xx to tt to see the site,  =oP

Before I go any further with this idea, I'm guessing right off that even though the NES is defunct hardware at this point, NOA is going stronger than ever, and I suppose they'd have a big time huff over neoflash putting all 11 or so MMC's on one cartridge and then having us flash some flashable eeproms on the cart to play whatever game ever on it...

But if I'm wrong, then do it up neoteam! ::sm-29.gif::

I realize this would be quite a challenge, but you know the dollar signs are just waiting for a project like this to hit the retro consumer.

   Whatever happens, good luck!

EDIT:  Well, I was just reading a bit more about the Aladdin Deck Enhancer, and I'm not sure what it had in it for MMC mappers.  The other information on that product I had read prior to reading that article was older and lead me to believe something different.  Oh well.  Still an interesting concept I guess.

people vote for gb/gbc, but its really lame on a gba or nds, since the gb can be emulated and there are gbc flashcards out there.
also, the nds will probably get a nice gb/gbc emulator sooner or later. it would sell, but i really dont know if thats much.

a NES flashcard would be really nice, so would a SMS one.

one thing i'd love to have on those new flashcards you guys are developing is the possibility to load the roms from some kind of card (cheap compact flash?)
because very much flash memory is expensive, but limited flash memory is boring to keep loading games from the pc.
it could also be simple to load games and be a hell of a nice gift!
 ::sm-24.gif::
think about it, this could certainly boost the sales very much, also offering a very solid solution!

There already is a SMS flash kit available. Visit tototek.com. They are based out of HK and have good service. Unfortunately they have no plans to release a NES kit. That is why I have come to this forum as the NES scene has been trying to make a Dev kit since the dawn of time. I collect Game Copiers and have a ****-load of them. I have been waiting patienly for a NES kit since I started collecting backup units/Copier/Dev kits. Apparently the NEO team has the resourses and capital to make/develope a NES kit. Would be nice if they also made something for the FAMICOM DISK SYSTEM.....but I would be happy with just the NES kit.

By the love of god... I respect everybody's opinion but I think it's time to release a NEO GEO or NES Copier. Why vote for a GB/GBC copier for your GBA when there are already ways to play the games on your regular GBC.
I think we should focus first on the machines that don't have any copier or flash cart yet.

I'd have to go with Atari Jaguar/Lynx/Virtual Boy (all 3 are the same copier unit right?)

Second system, not even listed here, that I'd like to see a copier for is: Colecovision.

Reason being, the emulators for the majority of the other systems are adequate as well as the fact that you can even play NES on a handheld these days.  Also the GBC emulator works fine for handhelds, why revive something that old?  GBC won't sell very well, NES might sell better, and Jaguar is iffy, there's plenty of Jaguars on ebay and such but no use for them because there's no copier at all.  A lot of people would like to have a virtual boy copier as well, make more use out of that thing.  Coleco emulation is also near perfect too but I own some games that crash on most emulators.  I'm probably shooting myself in the foot for even mentioning coleco though lol.

Well I don't own any of the 3 systems mentioned but if there was a copier, I'd buy it and I'd rush out and buy a jaguar.  I've always wanted to make use of the roms and right now, they just sit on a CD somewhere because they are unplayable.

But anyway I'm happy that there's an N64 flash device finally coming out.  I guess the tototek one will never show up since this will be out sooner than that thing will ever hit fab.

http://www.coinopexpress.com/products/pcbs/atomiswave_system/Atomiswave_System_Board_3027.html

I can see the potential for a menu cart with SD/CF slots. Perfect for homebrew devs.

The 16mb of main memory could be a problem, though...........

"Here is one DIY NES kit. The "Funky Flash Cart" "

Unfortunately, that is never going to come out. The guy abandoned it due to unfixable issues such as write speed.

1) a NES flash card (with SD support for example)
2) a GB/GBC flash cart that runs on GB/GBC (with SD or miniSD support)

would be great :)
