NDS APP - Alarm Clock DS
« on: August 12, 2006, 09:23:09 PM »
Alarm Clock DS

I have tried to keep the functioning of this clock as close to a real
alarm clock as possible. The operation is simple, while the clock is running, the screen lights will go out to save power. When you touch the touch screen, the light will come on. Touching the screen will also act as a 'snooze' button, and will dissable the alarm for ten (10) minutes.

The controls are as follows.

L + R - Set alarm mode
   A (held) - Select minutes
   B (held) - Select hours
Up - Increase time (While holding A or B)
Down - Decrease time (While holding A or B)
Start - Return to clock mode

Start - Enable/Dissable the alarm
Up/Down - Cycle digit colors
X - Cycle alarm type
Touch pad - Light on (for a few seconds) / snooze

Doesn't work for me :(
I can't set the alarm...
When I press L+R it switches to settings mode, but it doesn't do anything with A/B.

I must not have explained properly, sorry.

You have to hold A or B AND press Up or Down, eg. Hold A AND tap Up will increase the hours.

Btw, it's 'disable' not 'dissable'  :)

I'm fairly sure that has little to no effect in its placement in the competion, or indeed weather it is a useful app.

(I know I can't spell, I can live with it).

Um... is it just me or does the alarm not make any noise? I set it but when it was supposed to go off the screen just lit up... and the light from the top screen wont wake me up. Might just be an error in the code? I'm using a GBAMP for this. If you need me to do any testing for you just ask.
Suggestion would be having it play an MP3 of your choice.

I don't know what to tell you, it works fine on by dslite with flashme7 and gbamp.

AS for the mp3 playback, I wouldn't know where to start, this is my first ever DS code, im fairly new to C also.
