[NDS GAME] PROHIBITION
« on: August 18, 2006, 01:24:46 PM »
Hey guys,

I present you the new NDS game made by Kukulcan and me.
It's a remake of Prohibition created by Infogrames in 1987 for the Amstrad CPC computer.
The game is in English and French.

How to play :

To play the game, you can use the PAD or the STYLUS.

You can protect yourself from ennemy fire by using L.

There is a help access in the game menu.

Game mode :

You start the game with 3 lives. You must kill gangsters before they kill you.

At level 1, you only need 1 bullet to kill gangsters.

To go to the next level, you must kill 50 gangsters and finish the BOSS level without losing.

Intro :

Title and Menu :

Ingame :

To be done in next version :

improvment of save functions.

your website looks so cool :)

the game looks nice.  still not sure what i think about ports, but hey if it's a fun game it's a fun game.  and even though it has nothing to do with the actual game, i like how you extended the splash pic on to the bottom.

You may aswell release a version with the sounds activated. I believe the problems with stylus and sound are very minimal :)

LiraNuna left the DS scene so i don't know why he felt the need to comment but yes libnds is better if know how to use it.

I myself use palib as I am just starting out.  :o

Don't mind LiraNuna, Retro, it is a good go and when just starting out it usually is tough enough keeping everything on track without dealing with low level hardware.

At any rate, Im spending a minute an removing the "rails agains PALib" spam Lira seems compelled to post.
