You can use the tools, like seipsptool to rename your homebrew directory to hide corrupt icons.  The tool will rename it to something like this "name    ~1" & "name    ~1%".

A great release as always, AhMan. I'm sure you'll do well in this comp.

Also, you can rename __SCE__ folders to a regular fashion using the .zip plugin (it's in the extras section).

Oh, I forgot.  Thanks for reminding me, Tipster.  Using the zip plugin to rename your game folders to hide corrupted icons is much easier.

I've just found a bug(I think it is) concernig the battery warning repeat.

It keeps repeating the warning even when battery level surpases the warning limit, even after sleep mode. I don't kwon if it is because I have the limit in 3% and it keeps warning until the battery level is at 10%, cause I powered off at 8%

check if the mp3 plays fast on the pc too (seriously, heh, sometimes it happens).
bad re-encodes can do it too, I'm not sure if it's a irshell bug but if you have re-encoded every mp3 to the same settings that is ok on the pc but fast on the psp, then, well, the mp3 decoder used in irshell must have some incompatibility.
if that's the case, give us ur mp3 settings (right click, properties,  config, advanced or something like that) (or give us a sample mp3)

plays fine on my comp plays fine in xbm they are standard MP3s at 64kbs (and a few at 96 (or whatever the standard in the 90s is)) but most are 64 kbs--the one song that played right was at that compression and i use adobe audition 1.5 for allmy audio editing

suloku, you need to acknowledge the warning, by clicking the mp3 stop icon.  It won't stop under you acknowledge it.

the shell is great but when i play music it plays the song real realy fast its horrable atreyu sounds like the chipmuncks anyone know a fix or what i did worng they are in ms0:/PSP/Music sothey are in the right place not that realy matters
The mp3 player iR Shell is implemented using libmad library.  This library only supports these sampling frequency:
- 32kHz
- 44.1kHz
- 48 kHz
If you song being played back too fast or too slow, it means it's using an unsupported encoding frequency and you'll need to recoded it.

i have a problem vit nethost...
when enabling it, it connect to the pc (i see the connection activated in the nethost window...), but on the psp it gets stucked on the "initializing wifi, pls wait..." screen...
the only thing that can be done is turn off the psp...

instead, with old ir-shell 1.6, i can succesfully connect to nethost...

i'm the only with that problem?

Sephiroth87, iR Shell 2.0 can only be connected to nethostfs 1.3 server.  From your problem description, I believe you're using the old nethostfs 1.2 which only works with iR Shell 1.6.  You can download nethostfs 1.3 from the 2nd post of this thread.

Malc, you can use the alternate download link here for Pronto codes:

If you can't find the exact model, you can try similar models.  If none of them work, the only way is to find a Pronto compatible device and learn the the iR Code with it.  A PocketPC is one of the compatible devices which I used to learnt my Panasonic TV code.

only the song length and bitrate affect the file size. length (in seconds) * bitrate (in kbps or kilobits/second) = file size (in kilobits. divide by 8 to get the value in KB or kilobytes, then divide by 1024 to get the value in MB or megabytes). think the bitrate as beeing "density of information" (how many kbits in a second) and you will see multiplying like that will get you the size
