@Yodajr, I'll think about your suggestion on the option for USB Mass storage.  As for 1.0 Eboot, it will be released in the next public vesion, together with support on __SCE__ naming.  These features are currently under beta testing.

AhMan, is the adhoc connectivity code easily available so every other homebrew app can simply use it too? the function is great, thanks!  8)

GogetaSSJ4BR, iR Shell 2.0 already allows existing WiFi homebrew apps to use adhoc PC connectivity.  For example, you can starts Links2 from iR Shell, iR Shell will then allow Links2 to use adhoc and connect to the PC without Access Point and browse Internet.  To use this feature, you can refer to Adhoc WiFi PC Configuration section of the User Guide on the 1st post.  Make sure the option "Allow Adhoc PC Connection for Homebrew" under iR Configurator is enable.

Very bizarre. nethostfs suddenly works now.
Sporatically. Now its gone again. *sigh*
Tried invoking nethostfs without specifying the port.  worked once.
Now im getting the same messages above again. Error etc etc.
However the console gets a flood of connections.

Might have to rollback to 1.6 if i cant assist in fixing this.

Thanks for your support AhMan, this is an area where software developers generally lack.

- Devz

try using psphost v1.5, and replace nethost in it with the 1.3 from this topic...
works fine for me...

Thanks for the idea, tried that. Successfully connects every 2nd attempt now.
Least thats something. Thx Sephiroth87

Devz, make sure WiFi Powersave mode is OFF in XMB. It also helps to give nethostfs.exe a higher priority in task manager.

StoneCut - good call. Disabling WLAN powersaving made all the difference!
Thanks alot for your post!

Devz, I glad it finally works out for you.  I was assuming you were already setting WLAN Power save to off.  IMO, Sony should default WLAN Power save mode to off as it's giving problems to many applications, even some retail games explicted tell you to set it to off.

Have you downloaded the Prontocodes13.zip from the 4th post of this thread?  It contains IR Codes for over 2000 devices.  Usually, you don't need to find the exact model of your device.  Very often, a similar model of the same brand will often work.  However, if none of the models in a specific brand works, then you'll need to find a Pronto compatible device to learn the Pronto codes for your remote, and transfter the learned codes to your PSP.  A PocketPC is a compatible pronto device.

edit:even nethostfs isn't working ::sm-02::

Have you personally tried links2? I'm trying to get it working with ver 1231, but it stucks in the step 3.

I 've followed instructions in the first post and I have the enable adhoc for hombrew activated, with a pc ip 10.0.0.1 and psp ip 10.0.0.2, it's in adhoc mode and I've shared the conection like I always do with my laptop, well, it is actually working with my laptop with no problems.

I have the default port 7513 opened in my firewall for the 10.0.0.2 ip and also the proper dns are setted up in the adhoc conection, named "Adhoc PC"

any ideas?

Also there is an issue with the pspmsx emulator (at least with 1.05 version).

I can't return to rishell and the home buton freezes's the psp, but the battery warning still appears, so irshell is still in memory.

I supose that is a problem of the emu
