Froggies Prods (Pang, Super Mario War/PS2, NeoCD/PS2,...)
And
TiTAN Handheld Division (TrigonometryWars, Demos,...)
Are proud to present you for the Neoflash Summer Compo
R-Gear : Tribute to R-Type
This game, as the name says, is a tribute to our prefered shoot them up series created by Irem and unfortunately stopped last year... So we decided to bring back to life the good old R-Type feeling on the PSP.
--------------------------------------------- Instructions : --------------------------------------------- - Copy the folders in the PSP/GAME/ folder
- X to shoot (Stay pressed for cool power shoot) - O to control the module -/\ to toggle the options formation - Right Trigger to accumulate energy (then release) - Analog/Digital pad to move
--------------------------------------------- Credits : --------------------------------------------- Code - Gameplay : DingoFr/Froggies Code - 3D : Shazz/Titan^Froggies
Music - Game : Strobe & Ampli/Titan Music - Intro : Rebb/Titan
Graphics - Intro & Menu Art : AlienPDX/Titan Graphics - Game : R-Type collection,...
--------------------------------------------- Warning --------------------------------------------- This game cannot be sold, all content and relationship with R-Type are the property of IREM, CAVE, AICOM. Have fun or die...
--------------------------------------------- Screenshots ---------------------------------------------

WOW!!! I'm totally impressed with the high production quality of this entry!!!
Well done to everyone involved, this truly stands head and shoulders above everything else I've seen on the PSP!
Congratulations!

Welcome to our little Club Dr Neo
So as a true R-type fan, I hope you'll find in R-Gear the same incredible feeling we had yeaaaaars ago.... I still wonder one thing is it harder or easier than R-Type I ?
You'll say !

Wow, looking at those screens I would have assumed this was a retail game! Saying that this is impressive would be an understatement as it's easily one of the best homebrew games for the PSP.
Awesome job!

This kicks ass totally very tight My personal #1 on the PSP game compo
Have to get back playing now
EDIT: Either this is way harder then the original or I'm too rusted XD I just can't escape all the enemys because the ship seems to move too slow. Still friggin excelent game
