Funky Demo
« on: August 20, 2006, 04:22:26 PM »
Hi all, well after some last-minute fixes I at least got something together that runs... I just couldn't find enough time to do something more decent, so this is not what it was supposed to be... but well, I wanted to release something and not again drop the work on a demo project because I didn't get it finished in time.

So what's this? It's supposed to be a demo with some nice FX... but it turned out rather sluggish, but it's a good start for some nice 3D visualizations. So currently it's something like a boring kind of 3D-mp3-visualizer if you want :)

Hope someone finds it at least funny ;)

PS: I'll further work on this, so after the compo there should be new versions of this 'demo'. See my homepage therefore: http://wordpress.fx-world.org

EDIT: I can't seem to get the attachement working, no matter what I try, so please use this download link instead: http://www.fx-world.org/download/funky.zip

Are you sure? It says it's been downloaded 5 times already. If you want, you can download it from the link on the frontpage of my site too.

Yeah the download isn't working.  You'll need to reattach it.  It still adds to the download counter if someone clicks but they just get a blank page.

Can't seem to get it working, no matter how often I try to reattach the file (That's why I hate browser upload, I should have checked that yesterday before going to sleep, but I was so tired already :()...
well... hope it's ok if you use the download from my site (I'll try again to attach the file to this post):

PS: If it's a problem that the link didn't work by the deadline and this wouldn't be accepted any more, well I wouldn't mind that too much as it was my fault after all :(

Small spelling mistake in the demo - the word "definately".  Cool to see a demo entry but it's hard to compare demos to apps, they really need their own section.  Neoflash entries aren't really judged on coding effort but more based on if the judge thinks it's useful or entertainment value and just personal opinions.
