Looking at perhaps purchasing one of these, what exactly can the iR functions do? Also, will it work with the R6 as a PassMe2, instead of just the MK4?

it works with the R6 also with the mk6.

i haven't seen anything for the infra red though

I need to ask about something that isn't clear to me from all the reading in this forum...

When using the NEO2-SD on the following...
1) NEO N64 Myth flash cart?
2) NEO SNES/SFC Myth Flash cart?
3) NEO Myth MD 3in1 flash cart?

are the roms (MD, SNES, N64) executed directly from the SD card or the cart is used just as an ordinary 256M flash?

They're never executed directly from SD. When you load a game it's copied from SD to PSRAM (either the Myth's own RAM or the Neo2's RAM) and executed from there.

I'm a noobie so please inform me because I already placed an order for the NEO2-SD (already have the NEO Myth MD 3in1 cart) and I'm so confused....

Are the megadrive's ROMS stored in the SD on the NEO2-SD or in it's 256M flash? I know they are executed from some kind of ram but im asking about storage.
To be brief.... will I copy my MD roms in the SD (with the Neo2 Pro Manager) and see the games from the menu's list ready to be executed? Or the SD thing is for the other uses of this cart (DS, GBA or whatever, and not used on a Myth cart?)

I have a 512M cart that came with my myth but it's flash seems to have gone really bad (many many bad blocks) and I want to have something different and with lots of storage space, thats why I was interrested in the SD solution.
