Yeah, both me and my friend like the 8Gbit version, it is what the review says it is  :). Maybe I will just order the 16Gbit version because I am having a hard time waiting and it seams like they are quite a ways of from releasing the 64Gbit one. I just want the extra memory because I know I will use it I managed to use up a terabyte external hardrive. So I do manage to fill up memory very quickly. but why wait a few months for the extra size and spend more money?  ;D

you can always buy the 16gb and sell it later.
maybe you can sell it for 30-40 dollars to a friend who is happy with it, or ebay offcourse

I meant to post this the other day.  Its a site I ran across with a listing of diffent save types for each game.  The list is incomplete. I don't know if this will be helpfull.

"yhnx but we already have op to 828"

Are these in the MK5_savetype_01_30_2007a.rar at the beging of this thread?
I looked in the above file and I'm guessing that savetype.sdb is a plugin file for the MK5 software.. Is this correct and dose it go up to 828?

Is it included with the software you get when you buy the MK5 because it's only been down loaded like 16 times?
I would think it would get more hits......

Well I know that there are not much owners of the MK5 but it must be that it is included or just not that many people wast their time to get the save lib. My only other thought is that people are like my friend and they don't even download the updates for their carts.

for gba games i would suggest the neo2-lite although it's expensive

gba games don't work with the neo2-(mini)sd/tf yet. if it works i would buy the neo2-sd but i can't say it will be here anytime soon(maybe it is here tomorrow maybe next month maybe in 3 months i have absolutely no idea)

else you can maybe look for an other brand then neoflash if you want to have memory carts,
if you don't want to have memorycards but onboard memory I would look at ebay or something for the 1Gbit neoflas1 gba cart that is the best for gba games and homebrew. you can also run nds games on it by using the mk4-mini patcher for it(I think it will work with the mk5 also since it use's the same save format) but watch out because many people and shops ask much to much money for it.

Added a couple links to, and a further updated "unofficial" list. What this means, is using what info I have around from various places I have updated the list to keep it current, but some of the additions remain untested. Ones that have been tested are marked as "OK" in the post.

I will continue to keep the off site list updated every few releases (last update can be seen in the status page, when the server it's on co-operates) and will update the list post and attached unofficial list as time permits.

Have to say that Im most pleased with the mk-5 giga product. The earlier Neo and other earlie ds-backup products had thiere flaws. One should not expect the first backup units or modchips for a console to be perfekt one shopuld wait a bit if one has the pattient. I myself waited for a cart like Neo-mk5 so i bought some for my store and one for myself:) I recieved them for 5 days ago and I have to say that i love them.
These cart was the cart that made me buy a ds for myself!   :P

Game save types i have nedded to change:

0445 - Tao´s Adventure - Curse  <=takes apr.40min to first save location :/
EEprom 64/512Kbit    <=This is the right save type!
