I'm having problems...

My PC doesn't seem to recognize the MK5 16GB. It should recognize simply from connecting the cable to the PC right?

no

you also have to insert both cartridges into your DS and start into the MK5 menu. if the PC is connected, the USB udisc programm will start instead of the menu ...
