R6 Gold -- whitescreens on boot

Hi,

Do I need to load firmware or something on the R6 before using it? I get white screens when booting, I've tried with and without a microSD card in it.

Strangely, if I set my DS to manual mode, I can see that it tries to load the DS's firmware menu before crashing (I can see the clock & calander very faintly faded in white, but it just hangs there)

now the R6 what i send to coders are burn the MK4-mini menu inside, so this menu just can boot the slot-2 cart.

and you can burn any homebrew to R6 through this APP:

we will release the R6 homebrew menu with DLDI patch on the fly support.

I think I'm seeing the same problem here. On my original DS, it'll get to the firmware/loading screen (depending on which flashme you have installed) then it'll lock up. You see a little bit of either the DS firmware menu screen or the warning screen but it never fully draws. It freezes and that's the end of that.

On my DS Lite, however, it goes to the DS firmware menu screen and lets me boot from the R6 Gold card just fine. I think there might be something wrong w/ the R6 firmware in seeing the original DS units. Need more confirmation on this.

the R6 gold what we ship out is not come with R6 menu, we will release the R6 homebrew menu today or tomorrow.

Well, guess what... I have the same problem ^^ Locks the DS when loading the warning screen (not all white, only slightly faded in).
Also had problems on my PC to recognize TF-USB Pen, but it now works ok (though I get a USB vs USB2 warning each time)

edit : actually it works with one of my cards, with the other one it wants to format :s

Mines working fine. I can't wait for the menu to be released, flashing is quit slow compared to running direct from a TF card. The USB Pen is brilliant, I wonder if there will one day be a smaller version  :)
