Backup MK4 saves with a G6?

Hello everyone,

I've got a MK4 with a 512Mbit neoflash kit. I use that one to play a game and it saves perfectly to the Mk4. I've also got a G6 lite. With the G6 lite I have the option 'backup save' and there is the option 'DS CARD->Default' (its used to copy a save file from a ds game cart to the g6 lite. Can I also use this to copy the MK4 save to the G6 without damaging or losing the save?
