start a regular ds game ( With or without cartridge) and setup the connection, test and if it works, you can connect

no, homebrew cannot connect with the official nintendo wifi connector, unless you hack the firmware (google it).

hey dragonminded, just throwing something out there.

My touch screen isn't working too well, is there a way you could make it so I could control the keyboard using the d-pad(control pad) like pictochat?

Card: R4DS
Version: R4DS 1.11
Version: DSORganizer 2.9 NeoFlash

I can't start Homebrew .nds files from DSOrganizer.

e.g. DSReader.nds starts and gives the red background and then hangs.
NDSMAIL.nds gives me the message 'Waiting for ARM7'
ComicBookDS.nds gives just black screens.

I've already patched all the .nds files with the appropriate dldi file without any result.

I've already downloaded and installed the exec-stub.bin from http://www.dragonminded.com/ndsdev/es_r4m3.zip without any result.

The Mighty MAX loader gives the above result.
The Chism loader does nothing but hang.
The DSOrganizer loader give the message 'There is no built in bootloader for your card'

I can start the above programs directly from the R4DS menu without problems.

Can someone help me here?

Hey, before anything, this is the sweetest homebrew yet, one problem though, while streaming MP3's, many things have gone wrong:

During playback it will just freeze up, sometimes with what sounds like skipping for a second before it freezes and a reset is required, the same happens at random times when pressing the R-button to go to next song.

Just a quick feature request, could the Media player be accessible from the main menu?  And instead of only playing music from one folder, possibly all sub-folders too.
