[DISABLE] PSPRoxy
« on: August 05, 2007, 05:17:21 AM »
Purpose:
Allows a PC to go online using the PSP's wifi, through USB

Description:
1) User sets their Browser's proxy to 127.0.0.1 and the port 10101
2) A LocalHost Server is started which redirects signals from the local port to the USB
3) The PSP APP picks up on the signals from USB and then tells the wifi to do as such
4) For Windows only

Todo:
1) When switching pages, part of the old transmission shows up on the new transmission - got to fix that
2) The speed is 512 bytes/s currently to make it easier for me to debug. I plan to add extra send/receive buffers to get it to at least 32Kb/s

Download:
--Not Yet--
I still wannah iron out some things

I don't think I will make it =/

Getting everything to sync is a pain in the ass. It consists of 3 things that have to be in synch or the whole thing comes crashing down:
Browser to PC app
PC app to PSP
PSP to net

If I don't get this fixed by the deadline, I'm dropping out of the compo + releasing sources in hopes that someone else fixes it =(

This looks realy promising! :)

Good work SANiK. I've heard *many* people say it wasn't possible, and here you go, doing it. =D

I wish you luck with this. ^_^

Oye - been on vacation, I quit the project.

The last message I left the moderator was to close the topic - I was unable to check his response which said that he can't do it x-D

And now that I come back - there's a whole bunch of @$#@#$@ to deal with such as servers being down and other files being disconnected, etc.

----------------------------------
Project Status: Canceled
Reason: Major sync issues
Unworking source release: http://sanik.imk.cx/PSPRoxy/index.htm

Is "attemptB" more stable than "AttempA" version?
