I'm not to sure about voting...
The public obviously should count, since its their vareity of opinions and ideas that will eventually show which game is enjoyable to most people, and therefore shows the rightful winner of the division, as in if it were only a judge looking at the game it wouldn't represent the community's view on the whole. However, that being said, by the public I mean the general public, not just friends of those who have entered. Because of uncertaincys and holes in the system of polling, obviously a secondry judging is needed, such as that of independant judging, although as said before, if the jude doesn't happen to like the game then it is quite unfair just to count it out. I think they should both be a part of the competition, but I'm not sure as to what extent.
To put all of that simply, I think that we should count 50% for each of the crieteria, judging and polling, and just do the best we can to eradicate cheating. There both just as important as each other.
