I can't seriously think that people voted for my game instead of much better games in this compo! 

I voted for Mental Games myself, which I think is a lot more fun.

People have different opinions, some people like some games while other  people like different games. Personally I voted for ASCII Pac-man. I like Pac-man and find it a great game to play. But really, just because You think that a game shouldn't deserve first doesn't mean others do.  I'm not saying I should win but I am saying I should be given a fair chance. It's still early in the competition, anything can happen!

It may not be cheating at all.  I mean, we're only talking about 13 votes.  He may just have 13 friends from another forum what all decided to come here and vote for his game.  That may be bad sportsmanship, but it's not cheating.

BrickFall is not a bad game at all, either.  I can absolutely understand why some people would like it a lot.  It would have been one of my favorite games in the compo if it weren't for the very frustrating bugs in the collision maps.

Not to worry anyway, we all know how meaningless the public poll is in deciding the winners of the compo.

I agree with Alekmaul and Reppa ... Brickfall is a pretty nice game, but I think all these guy with 1 post who voted for it are author's friends. They maybe didn't try it, but they voted here ... to allow him winning :/

Nonono, don't pull out. That would just bring bad karma to this compo. I think this is way too early to call anyone a cheater. Besides, I'm sure most people atleast get at least a few friends to vote.

I don't think asking friends to vote for you would be anything honest...

But if everyone does it, I can sure have like fifty votes until compo's ending !
I never claimed that bassacegold had cheated, and I won't, as he said he was one of the two who voted for me ^^
But the thing is, would you ask your friends to vote for you, knowing that if they weren't your friends, they probably wouldn't vote for this compo, and if they would, wouldn't vote for your game? Would that be fair?

Well if everyones getting upset about something i didn't do, and i can't pull out, then i don't want my votes to count. It's not worth having everyone arguing over nothing.

Yeah, don't pull out, your game's pretty cool, but, it's right, seems like you have cheated (as a matter of proof, on playeradvance.org, out of 17 votes, you got NONE, therefore it's pretty much sure you cheated)

Voting is COMPLETELY subjective and I'd bet that 80% of the voters didn't play every game before voting...so how fair is that? 

This is turning into a witch hunt and BassAce is taking all the punches for a system that is inherently unfair. 

As far as anyone knows BassAce hasn't done anything wrong...so give him a break...

I don't think the competition should be changed because of me.  Just let it go on, stop the arguing and just not count my votes.

I think everyone should remember that these compo's are hear to encourage people to contribute to the homebrew scene...conversations like this tend to discourage it...
