What settings do you use when you save the bitmaps?

24bit windows if I remember correctly, nothing fancy...

Hm.  Well, you're right about it not showing up as transparent in the skin config tool.  But you said that the Ghost in the Shell skin I made looks fine, and that skin has a ridiculous amount of #00FF00 in it (come on, it's an old-school computer themed skin).  If the DSTT firmware is supposed to interpret that color as transparent, then there should be white splotches and stripes all over the damn place.

As I see it, I think the system renders green as transparent only in the case of the icons that appear with the game title indicating cheat status, dma softreset etc.

As well as the arrow for the drop-down combo box, which uses pink for transparency.  But see, even with that item, when I try to use the same background color with a different foreground, the transparency breaks - at least in the skin customizer, where it normally works correctly.  BUT if I don't mess with the background at all and paint directly on it (which is how I made it green for the GitS skin), the transparency works fine!  Aargh!

 

Why couldn't they have just used bloody .png files?  That would have made skinning a whole lot easier and infinitely more flexible.

I'm makin' a skin but i'm havin' a sorta issue.

Can i change position of the buttons on sysoption? (i guess no but who knows maybe there's a way) But i think i'll have to rethink bottom's background -.-
