Nickname: Da_MerV Project name: Let's Roll From: US Division: PSP Game Original enter: YES Motion Support: YES In last NEO Compo this project won in the top 10: NO Project description: Simple yet entertaining game demonstrating the possibility of motion integration and pseudo 3D in Lua.
Screen:

Long description: This game is a demonstration of the power and capability of Lua. In this game you must tilt the PSP to roll the ball along a course to the goal. As the levels pass, the courses get more challenging, and the ball rolls faster. A great game for anyone and any age!
Featuring: -Realistic control with the motion kit -Pseudo 3D levels and great graphics -Simple gameplay for any age player -Small size: the entire pack is only 1.56 MB uncompressed
PLEASE NOTE: PLUG BEFORE YOU PLAY, THE PROGRAM ASSUMES THE MOTION KIT IS ALREADY THERE
Known Issues: -Exit only breaks the script, I did this because os.exit() was crashing the PSP FIXED-Once in a blue moon it will freeze and crash, I'm not sure why
Enjoy the game and don't forget to vote! ~Merv
PS. The update is now available! Please re download the zip. I am trying to find the bug that causes it to crash every once in a while. If it crashes while you are playing it, please post and let me know what level and as many details as possible.

Thanks! I built this game in three days and just for this competition. Unfortunately, it will only work with the motion kit; this was, after all, a demonstration of the motion sensor's capability.

Nice game. [Tested w/Mo-kit]
3 days is a little understatement I think? You mean total combined time of around 72 hrs?

So, how does it feel to be the first to present your game to the competition ?

So you're not allowed to post new versions up to the deadline? Like what if you want testing/feedback?

b0rk: I believe its not a problem to post your project and then update it a few times before the deadline - but you might hurt yourself by releasing a non-stable version first which might not be re-downloaded once everything is fixed, that will keep some negative opinions Also Floxxx's Funportal would be against the rules then because according to his website a first (?) release was made on the 12th february of 2008 (Version number 1.0).
