Hello do you mind putting a post to show how to upgrade like the last one because what i did was put the autorun on my ds ran it it sed update complete but i restart it and nothing changed so i ran the test and it says its find. so basiccaly just a few points on how to upgrade will do thanks

You will have to explain, what cant you get to work, what are you trying?
- Just copy the two files to the mk5, using the usb writer, put it in the ds and switch on.
It will then tell you that it is upgrading, let it do that, I think it will format to, if it does, choose the quick format, not the slow one. After that it might tell you to copy xmenu.dat to the card, to do this, just plug the card into the usb writer and copy the file to it through your pc, just like a normal flash drive.
Once that is doen, just copy your .nds fileas (games) to the card, they will show up in the menu whtn you switch on the ds.

If you are on 1.45 and 2.54
1. Put the MK5 USB Linker into the slot 2 plug in the USB lead and put the other end of the USB into a free USB slot on your PC
2. Power on DS and enter USB data exchange mode, this will open up a removeable drive on your PC, minimise this its needed later.
3. Download the MK5_Menu_V1.45_&_XMenu_V2.55.rar and extract the folder MK5_Menu_V1.45_&_XMenu_V2.55 to your desktop
4. Copy the contents of the earlier extracted folder to the removeable device window you opened earlier.
5. Copy any games you have to your desktop if you are not at 1.45 Kernal
6 At the prompt to overwrite files select yes
7. Once all files are transfered power off DS and remove MK5 USB Linker
8. Power the DS back on and if auto launch is not selected start the MK5 Cart in the slot 2 on the DS
9. Run MK5_Menu_V1.45_AUTO_Upgrade.nds
10. You should have a screen with a few bits of writing on it let it do its stuff
11. Restart DS to ensure everyting is ok if it starts and you see 2.55 and a free space indicator in the top left you are done.
12. Put the MK5 USB Linker into the slot 2 plug in the USB lead and put the other end of the USB into a free USB slot on your PC
13. Power on DS and enter USB data exchange mode, this will open up a removeable drive on your PC, delete the MK5 _Menu_V1.45_AUTO_Upgrade.nds
14. Power off DS your done.

the other player's ds does not reset into the game properly. So I guess it still has a download play problem.

done it and there was an error my pc ask to format unit and silly me did!
now cant find the card and dont know what to do.
