The controls era quite good, but when playing i don't have time to lock on target and fire.
The enemy fire from off-screen and sometime it's hard to find them.
May be a bigger view could fix this.

This is what i feel playing the game, but if i'm the only one ... then no matter!

Well i had the same comments last time. But in this version, the area you can see is significantly bigger and there's a minimap which indicates you the position of every enemy around you in real time so...

Thanks for the feedback though. :)

I agree with samel. ~sm-41.gif~
Enemies should start firing in shorter distance , or something like that. O0O

Other than that...top homebrew game ~sm-45.gif~

I've got only one question ... why you did not use 3D??

Damn me and my 3dsmax skillz, is that what I went to school for, to end up making 3d stuff that looks like 2D? I'll go spank myself with a rubber chicken.

But no, seriously, it's 3d, believe it or not. And to get bigger view, you either need a psp or hold the ds screen with tweezers and push hard both ways horizontally until it stretches.

I have to reiterate the comments about the camera, it is too close and to play The game you are forced to basically look at the radar and guess where your enemies are. It was very difficult on normal difficulty to even do this, so I played on easy. I did play on normal afterwards, and found the only way to succeed was to try and sneak around the enemies and hit them.

I found the story kind of confusing, in that I was searching for parts that it never mentioned that I acually found, then the game ended abruptly, which kind of left me confused.

Don't get me wrong though, this game is a great game, I just wish to give suggestions so that it can be an amazing game. I especially enjoyed the part with the truck. It is definately one of the best 3d homebrew games i've played, and I wish you luck in winning the competition.

Very good game,
With an excellent FPS-based gameplay, and good 3D graphisms for DS !

Hope you win ;)

Yes, the game is 3D, perspective doesn't matter, FPS can be done with sprites and skewing the walls and adding 'depth' via simple math functions, no? Legion has 3d models, characters and objects imposed over iso, simple as that. No 2D here.

Also, dipper5, the parts 'pickup' is always mentioned in story, you might have missed it though as sometimes story gets flooded...a lot.
