HO, i've to say great work! but may be you can add a lot of poly to the char because there are not many of them on the screen so the game could look better.
In chage you made great animation. i like very much the strafe motion!
I've to test the online version ...

Hehe, thanks, glad you like it.
As for more polys, here's the thing. I made 3000+ character at first then started welding and optimizing until I got to this number, forgot exactly but shoudl be about 350 tris or so. Basically, I wanted it to be -400 and still look better than a stick figure, that was a goal. Generally speaking, heck, I wouldn't mind 5000 triangles, you know.
The problem with that is that I have to put additional strain at smealum here who needs to go about it optimizing for some 60fps or so and sweating over it. I don't really want to see him loosing his hair at such a young age of...twelve, I think.
Hehehe.

Technically, it'd be a TPS, not an FPS, because the F stands for "first" as in "first person". I like the game, and I feel it is solidly 3D. The models do look flat, leading to a 2.5D effect. ~sm-35.gif~

No, I wasn't saying that Legion is FPS, you misunderstood the whole thing as I was mentioning FPS games like Duke and Doom and such which have sprites, not 3D models and such.
Everyone in this world can see that Legion is not FPS as much as everyone and his grandma knows what F stands for, I mean..come on. Legion is obviously a simple isometric game with 3d contents and that's about it.

No need to apologize as I've misunderstood you too, plus I didn't add these icons > :D and such. Now I see that guy saying that so I'll correct him instead, here goes~

HEY GUY

It's not FPS...it's a third person isometric shooter in 3D for DS set up in post nuclear almost apocalyptic world, you hear?

Ok, hehe, thanks everyone for comments and have fun.

Bon boulot Smea !

Bye.

Great work guys! I finally got to play!  lol @ "attention deficate disorder"

Funny story - nice graphics and good gameplay :)  I've only been online with two players, but it worked really well - though it usually resulting in a lot of close range shooting/straffing I think 4 would mix it up a little :)
