PSP-Maps is a homebrew application to bring Google Maps, Virtual Earth and Yahoo! Maps to the PSP with a simple interface.
This program is not using the Google Maps API (except for address search), it is retrieving the images directly using the wireless connection.
You can search for an address, add/load favorites, or just move around on the map.
There is also a local cache which allows you to browse the maps offline.
It is released under GPL so the source code is available.

The Good Bookr is a Bible reader for the Sony PSP, based on the open source Bookr ebook reader.
A major goal of The Good Bookr is to provide a robust search interface which lends itself to Bible study.

Ever wanted an Alarm application that looks neat and does it’s job perfectly? Look no further, because this is it.  Cheesy
This is an Alarm application which utilizes the PSP's Hardware Capabilities, setting an Alarm that will wake up the PSP from either Sleep Mode or Powered Off (standby) mode. It is compatible with ALL PSP's including Slim & Light.

Xplora project has been conceived for becoming
a shell, but now has limited functions but
it has a good graphic interface.
With this homebrew you can simply explore
the Memory Stick and with possibility to copy,
delete or create files and folders.
Besides it supports a lot of file types,
for example you can launch ISO's\CSO's
or homebrews or prx module!
Besides it has a lot of utility, a text editor,
a internet browser, a utility to dump the umd
to a ISO directly on MS and one for sort the homebrew
and game icons of the XMB

My opinion:

Probably one of the best shell applications ever created...

Maintenance application to help keep your custom firmware PSP running smoothly.
Works best with a pandora/despertar cementario setup, but has now been ported to run under most known custom firmware versions.

Note to judges and anyone else who downloads this application:
Take the warnings in the readme and the app seriously,
if it says it's dangerous and you don't know what it does...
DON'T do it! Make a backup - and by all means have pandora battery/memory stick
at hand if you are trying out anything that writes (especially from the eboot version,
as the stick/battery are not a requirement to run it.)
~ ~ ~ ~ ~

My opinion:
A quite useful application , but shouldn't be used by anyone.
Use it only if you know exactly what you're doing.

PSParticlePlayer is an MP3 player featuring some nice graphics,
think of it as a Screensaver or Eye-Catcher playing some music for you.
OK, PSParticlePlayer is just a bit more than that, at first it was developed as a Particle Engine Editor (and it still is)
for the upcoming PGE game engine release.
Spiced up with some MP3 playing functionality it is the app you have sitting in front of you :-)

My opinion:
Definetly not a useful application , but its cool
to sit and watch the particle effects while playing some music.

Pros & Cons

+Offers a few minutes of fun

Easycxmb is a homebrew installer for noob! This install a cxmb version: LITE/FULL, fixxed problem for this plugin install swap and disabled plugin...
The language is C and this have a XMB style (like dc6/7) whit black wave.
Is very very easy to use and to install cxmb! This is 3° version...

My opinion:

OK...
What's the point of this?
This looks more like a preview/demo application.
After "installing" cxmb nothing happens.
Just playing with buttons...

Pros & Cons

-Not useful
-Nothing to do with this app. Just playing with buttons...

0/5

Interface
The "interface" isn't bad , but needs more work...
Just because it uses vc6 library(or however its called) doesn't mean anything.

2.5/5

Usability
Not useful at all.
You just play with buttons...

0/5

Graphics
The vc library is nice , but that's all.

Faintless Maker is a Rpg Style game engine that allow you to build your PSP games directly from your PSP! Just like Rpg Maker for the pc!
It's easy and fast, and you don't need to learn any programming lenguage!

My opinion:
First of all , this application uses the old neo splash
and im not sure if its allowed or not , but since i tried
it im going to write the review.

Now , back to topic..

The application is really far from a full rpg game engine.
Right now its just a map editor with limited options , and...many bugs.

Pros & Cons

+For all the effort

-Missing official NEOFLASH logo,it uses the old one.
-PSP shouldn't be used for such projects.
Editor's should be run under pc.
-When opening options menu , its impossible to read the red text.
-Some tiles cannot be selected
-Some tiles blocking player's movement without reason
-Some tiles when selected , display wrong tile images...
-Animation isn't smooth

Sorry for the Homebrew Sorter, I know that it crash but I don't know the MP3 player bug, can you explain the problem? Try to unload the plugins, some plugins like music.prx cause problems with the music player!

I have a fatty psp with cfw 3.90M33-3 .

Sorry , i had enabled 1.5 for GAME folder for geometry wars and a few other lua apps, and i placed your app there. ~sm-34.gif~

I put it back in game380(where i had it the first time i tested it) and it works.

This can't affect the score though.
The review was written after testing it 3 times on game380 folder and was working fine.
I moved it in game folder , and i experienced 2 crashes , so i had to report it.
I should have had double check the kernel for game folder ~sm-34.gif~.

I edited main post - bug report removed.

Hi , and thanks! Cheesy.

The installer just gives a black screen then crashes.
I have tried everything possible , but keep crashing.
It could it be my memory stick i don't know...

And i don't have my psp slim here right now to test it there   Undecided.

As for the home button...
It happens when it plays an mp3 file.
It hangs there , and the music keep playing... ~sm-34.gif~

And finally for the start button , indeed it reports an error , take a look here:
