DSBash

You use this program to browse through bash.org and similar sites through the DS. If you are unfamiliar with bash.org it is a set of sites that are basically collections of funny quotes from an internet relay chat.
This program works very well. You can browse through the latest, or random quotes. Its too bad bash.org is still down, because they have the best quotes, but qdb has been providing me with lots of laughs. I'm so glad that this program was made, I'll be using it a ton. Some quotes are just so funny. I kind of feel that I am rating this too high just because of the greatness of bash.org and qdb though, but, the program works, and brings the joy of those sites to my ds.

Micro

Micro is a simple text editing program. You can type, and save and load documents, provided you memorize their names.
The problem with Micro is that it is lacking a couple of needed features. Backspace wasn't working for me, saving and loading you need to memorize the names to be able to load. There were tons of bugs that I found, it just didn't function that well.

GraphDS

GraphDS is a program that I will use to help me with my homework. Seriously though, it is like a math calculator, a more advanced calculator. It is similar to my TI-83+. You can do advanced functions and graph them.
This program works very well. I did many functions that I already know how to solve, and the program did them properly. One thing that bugged me was it wouldn't graph until I went home then pressed GPH again. Something that desperately needs to be added is a better trace function, so that you can identify the zeroes and intercepts of the graph. Or at least arrows that you can press so so it incrementally changes what its tracing instead of having to manually enter it in.

DSBible

DSBible is a bible reading application for the DS. You can browse through all the books of the bible, and even bookmark sections to read later.
This application works very well. DSBible allows one to fully browse all of the bible. It is done very well, and is easily used. I did, however, encounter some crashes. All the menus work great, and the program is very responsive.

DSBrowser - Dual Slot

DSBrowser - Dual Slot allows one to access both slot 1 and slot 2 files at the same time. The MP3 player included also allows you to build your own track list, that will be played while running DSBrowser.
This program does what it says it does. And it works very well. I didn't enounter any problems. Although I find that there are already programs that let you do exactly the same thing as this program. It works though, and it looks nice.

Project JDS

Project JDS is a tool to help you memorize the different Japanese 'alphabets' or hiragana and katakana.
This tool works well for what it says it should do. It presents you with letters and asks you which one it is. Although the usefulness is extremely limited. I wouldn't be able to learn any useful japenese using this. All I could do is tell you that this sign means na, or ha. I feel that it needed some explanation in how everything works. It presents you with a bunch of stuff on the touch screen, but I dont know what anything is. Like the white marks on the bottom, and everything else. The way to learn a language is to learn how to read write and speak it. Learning just the alphabet isn't going to help you get anywhere really. But this program definately is useable, and helps you accomplish learning the alphabet.

UA Paint

UA Paint is a paint tool for the DS. You can save, and load your images. Use any color you want, and you can even undo up to 15 times.
I really enjoy this paint tool. UA Paint is extremely functional. The only problem I had was being unable to select stamps. I am able to save and load my images, which is extremely useful. The support for Dpad to use for pixle art helps a ton. There are all the basic tools included, although there should be different options for the circle and square tools. It works well, and I enjoy fooling around in paint.

Paint Black DS

Paint Black DS is an application that you can use to create drawings or reveal drawings that were already made.
Paint Black DS almost reminds me of a game, in the reveal part, you select the letter and colour it in, like a paint by colours app. Doing your own pictures is pretty interesting too, although it is difficult to figure out how you are goign to accomplish what you want to do, since you only have a set selection of pieces. It is fun to play, I particularily enjoy the picture reveal part. It contains a lot of those, so it will take a while to get my use out of this app.

ApprenticeMinusDS

ApprenticeMinusDS is a gamegear and sega master system emulator.
The functionality of this application is great. It ran every game I tried to play. It worked fine, and the savestates work perfectly. I couldn't find any bugs in the program. Everything worked great. I will be using this to emulate all the great SMS/GG games that I missed out on, since, well, I was really young.

Neko DS

Neko DS is an app where a cat follows around the stylus.
There really isn't much to Neko DS. A cat follows around your stylus, and sometimes sleeps. There are some bugs in the movement of the cat though, and that detracts a little from this app.

Wintendos XP

Wintendos XP is a simulation of windows XP on a ds.
There really isn't much to this simulation. To be honest, I was pretty dissapointed. Although it does resemble windows xp, it doesn't really work that well. The keyboard has lots of issues, as does the text program, as does minesweeper. Everything just is filled with bugs and doesn't work properly. I guess judging by that last sentence I guess it is an amazing simulation of windows.

Apps I was unable to Test
Unfortunately, I was unable to test some apps, because they didnt run at all, or because I was missing an accelerometre(sDepS) They are the following:
   -MENUdo
   -sDepS
   -Balik Bayan DevWifi
   -SunOL v0.2alpha

The only thing missing is a way to change the font size

With the default config you can change between 4 font sizes by pressing select / Start button ^^"

@Dipper5

Thanks for your time to do the reviews.

About Project JDS, there is a help page/picture under the menu that gives some help. Although i agree it could be better. Anyway i am pleased with the result this far.

Thanks for the reviews dipper5.  I'm sure that it takes a lot of time and effort to write reviews for all these apps.

One thing that I'd like to clarify is that when you trace an equation in graphDS, you can either enter a value for the independent variable, or you can use the arrow keys to move the cursor along the graph.

In graphDS v0.9 (which should be out in a couple of weeks), users can look forward to better precision, bug fixes, and CAS compatibility with trig/log functions.  I am also working on a vastly improved gui and a few other minor additions, which will be implemented in v1.0.
