hum.... Neo Geo Myth Cart ...  ~sm-39.gif~

it is LONG OVERDUE. I am patiently waiting for the NES/Megadrive/SNES/N64/MKIII myth carts and I will buy them all. Neo Geo Myth cart would be legendary. I know there are a lot of technical issues to overcome, but I know a Neo Geo myth cart would be an instant seller

They've got multicarts out there now with pretty much all of the good Neo Geo stuff for around $100. For that reason, and the technical problems involved I don't think a flash cart is going to be a huge priority.

Well if Dr Neo could make one, good for him but it sounds like it'd be super expensive.  I just load all that stuff on my xbox and it seems fine.  Some of these other systems oddly don't play as well as a neogeo emulator though.  I rather have real SNES and real N64 hardware than emulating those.

Also people are wondering the price of these flash cards.  Hopefully they are cheaper to manufacture in China but they could end up being pricey.  Not really sure how all that works out.  But come to think of it, there was a fair amount of hardware on this device I have sitting here called GB Xchanger MGD3 and it was only like $30 and it does have a large ALTERA chip inside...so who knows.

HI, i´m looking a long time for this, but if i read the links at GBATEMP.NET, 50% of the peeps is positive ~sm-42.gif~, and the other 50% haves 0% faith in neoflash :P..... I dont know much about neoflash, but if they are smart, they release it with a SD cart, not the other junk........if they build it with SD i would buy it, and other people too, it would be a bomb!!!!   ::sm-09.gif::

So i hope that they will release it the proper way....quality stuff......
Keep up the good work dr.NEO and please use SD(if you dont, you shoot youreself in the foot ::sm-05::, try to be better then tototek..... )

Kind Regards from the Netherlands

Dr. Neo will release the products when they are ready.  He has to create moulds for the plastic parts and has to get a production run order of PCBs and such.  That all doesn't happen in a single day.  There is a lot of stuff behind the scenes that isn't said on the internet.

Hey guys.

First of all, I'm glad to see this project is not dead yet (though it seemed so... that's why at some point i stopped visiting this site to check for news and only learned about the pictures a few days ago...). Congratulations. If some things are going to be nice with this flashcard, I think you'll have another customer with me.  ^-^

I'm currently in the process of developing an integrated development environment (IDE) specifically designed for SNES games. It will be cross platform and will (hopefully) make game development much easier than today (you can find more about it on my website: flobo2000.fl.funpic.de --> dsnesds).
The Neoflash SNES cart was originally announced as a "Dev kit". So I'd be very much interested in how much it really will be a development kit in contrast to just another flash cart. Will there be (real time) debugging capabilities? ::sm-23.gif:: Will it come with any software that can be used to have a look under the hood of a game while playing? Or will it even come with an own IDE?!

Would be nice to hear some comments about the SDK-part of the project. If you don't want to comment in public, you can also PN me, Dr.Neo.

Ok. That's it. Wish you all the best for your project. Hope to hear from you soon, kind regards, Flobo  ~sm-45.gif~

Hopefully it won't be $150 like that Genesis cart they made was/is.

That price is a bit of a ::sm-08.gif:: when you can just play it on an emulator.

If the price is reasonable I will buy one the day it becomes available.

$150 would be worth it to me, just like any retro game cart. The tototek ones are cool, but 64mb is just not enough, especially since they are, ugh, parallel devices.

I ran NEOSNES.BIN (71,680 bytes) included with the Neo Myth MD software in ZSNES.  That menu also only displays one game at a time and has the text overlap bug but since the hardware isn't even out yet, it's a bit early to be testing the menu.

I love my Neo Myth MD cart and I am really looking forward to others. I would like to see how the NES one would match up with the PowerPak.
