I'm wondering, will this flash cart work on a Sega Genesis using the Power Base Converter?

Uhhhh, with most Game Gear games you have to convert them (there's some out there already converted for the SMS). I don't see why it wouldn't work through the Master System Converter for the Game Gear, it depends and probably would need tested (I have one of these converters I can test with when the time comes).

It *should* work through the Power Base Converter on the Genesis as well but I believe that would need tested too.

Dr. Neo, is the Codemasters mapper going to be supported (e.g. Fantastic Dizzy, etc.).

Well, if you want to play Game Gear ROMs, you'll need to hack them to work on the Sega Master System.

Is this project still alive? I do have the MD Myth Cart, but I want to use the Power Base Converter for the 3D games which require a card slot.

also, if I have a Mark III and an FM sound unit, or if I have a Japanese Master System with built in FM unit, can I use those instead of the one in the cart?

I suppose I would just take the audio from the system instead of from the cart.

Also it looks like you have 4 cables coming out of the cart. 2 are for stereo, what are the other two for? also does a regular Mark III/ Master System output stereo at all or just mono?

From what I understand a dedicated MK3 cartridge is not planned.

However, you can use the NeoMyth 3-in-1 for Mega Drive to play SMS games.

Hey Dr. Neo, I was wondering how production was going, I remember hearing it might be ready around April or May but I still don't see it on the official store site.

I'd love to have one for my precious Sega Mk III

as of right now I have the NeoMD but when I play Master System games on it, there is a strange buzz in the audio, perhaps due to the way the fm chip is connected, I'm not sure.

Plus I cannot play SG-1000 games on the NeoMD so I'm highly looking forward to this device.

Will the source code be available so that we can improve the menu? Of course, if it's small I could disassemble it like I did with the PCE menu, but it's much easier/quicker to use the source code.
