I do not know how I missed these great little devices.  If the SDK is linux based, please email me and I can work on an installer script for rolling a custom andLinux development environment.

is there anything that sets this thing apart from the plethora of other devices that are capable of doing the exact same thing as this?
i mean, look at the specs - they're in that typically bad engrish that you find describing all the other devices too. "operation system"?

and whyd the hell you call it a slim 3000? its not a psp, or anywhere close.

for the time being at least, id say that the dingoo a320 is a way better choice than this. dingoo also runs linux, and has hundreds of emulators and native games already running on it, has a huge community supporting it and is already well established. this thing looks like you simply rebadged a ****py chinese pmp and hacked linux on it?

i hope im wrong.

God damn that's fugly  Cry

5 Key points to success  sm-25

1. Install a proper d-pad.
2. Decrease the space between action (ABXY) buttons.
3. Change the name.
4. Change the appearance (not everyone wants to buy a cheap-looking PSP knockoff).
5. Install another speaker (most people have two ears).

Complete these changes in no particular order, and I'm sure your console will be much more successful.  sm-10

good points,

imo the logo under the screen should be a little less distracting too, making it more matt/dull instead of that glance.

You're welcome Dr. Neo, if you do make these changes I'll be one of the first to buy your Neo Slim.  sm-17

I enjoy collecting and playing with obscure little handhelds like these  sm-18

may i ask what hardware is inside this? chinachip cc1600 or something else? i hope its something else. and does it have any 3D acceleration?

also, please expand on what you said about it running linux. are people going to be able to program for this device? will the OS be open sourced?

Some changes I would do:

* Remove the front name logo (or make it discreet)
* Change the X O PS-like button names for a ABXY SNES like (Itīs a retro console, isnt it?)
* If the device have enough power to emulate PSone, so please add a second analog.
* That black border that doesnt look good.

Anyway, some questions:
* Do you decided the final specs (is processor MIPS?) yet?
* Does it support 3D accel?
* Will the price be on par with Dingoo a320 ?
* The USB port is a HOST port or just SLAVE like a320?
* Is there Some kind of communication between them? Wireless or usb...?

Thanks
Good luck for your project

got a link to any online stores?
got any technical specs for us?
details on the operating system?

are people able to code for this device? is it running linux?

also, what do you mean by "first version"... are you planning to make other versions of it too?
