SMS control pad does not work in the menu

I have an SMS pad connected to my Sega Genesis 1 (I have heard some SMS games don't work properly with Genesis pad), and it does not work when trying to navigate through the MD Myth menu.

Anyone know a fix for this ? The only work around is to have a Genesis controller plugged into the 2nd controller port.

I never figured someone would be using an SMS pad with the menu, but given it plays SMS games and SOME require an SMS pad, I should. The next update to the menu will have SMS pad support.

v1.2 of the menu (and the deluxe menu) should work with the SMS pad. Would someone with one please try it? Thanks.

SMS pad works in the latest menu.  An obvious issue that remains is the inability to access an SD card using the SMS controller.

Well, you can't (yet) run SMS games from the SD card, but I should still make some changes to the control mapping when you have just an SMS pad. Thanks for checking that.

Even without SMS support from the SD card, I could think of times where I might not swap the controller when switching to Genesis games (i.e. I'm too lazy  ).  With some Genesis games not using all three buttons, I could see myself occasionally choosing to play those games with an SMS controller if it's already plugged in.
