Good. At least we know now your Neo2-SD isn't the problem. That would have been bad.  :(

Are there any plans for adding the ability to apply game genie codes into the software?  I love the ability to use that feature on my tototek card, but I really want to have the MD Myth and stop having to use the parallel port programing on the tototek card. ~sm-44.gif~

Well, I believe Conle's plugin supports applying Game Genie codes to the ROM.

Yeah you can apply GG cheats with the plugin.

Just create a text file with your cheats appended and then , put the rom on MD MYTH , click on "GG cheat" area and select the cheat file.

Apply at least CRC fixes and burn the rom.

By the way , i suggest to download the latest stable version of the plugin.

Download this ->

Extract "Plugdemo.dll" from the package and install it to :
\NEO2 Ultra menu\Plug_In\MD\PlugDemo.dll

I think this thread needs to be updated to link to v2.98 of the software... although I don't know if that update only contains N64 fixes.

2.98 works for both N64 and Gen Carts....only thing it's missing is SD Support for N64 (in development) and 64bit support for the PC-E Flash cart (hint hint), otherwise it's perfect.

I know that. I was just saying that I wasn't sure if there was any improvement in the Genesis functionality between 2.95 and 2.98, which is probably why the original post hasn't been updated yet. :)

I updated the post to point to 2.99. I also updated the text to reflect my latest menu was v1.1b6.

Hi All,

I had some initial trouble running the software.  I kept getting a "Failed to initialize error", 0xc00000005.  It turned out that I had to add neo2client.exe to the list of exceptions for DEP.

I used the guide found here: http://ambientweather.wikispaces.com/The+application+failed+to+initialize+properly+%280XC0000005%29.+Click+OK+to+terminate+the+application

Apologies if this is already posted somewhere, but my searches couldn't find it.  Hopefully this will help someone if they hit the same problem.

Thanks!

I ignored the instructions at first, put the mdbios in my neoflash folder and added some roms. It displayed a black screen. I then read the instructions and noticed I had to set the menu to 4mb and write it using the memory tab. It booted, created some folders on my SD card and then went into a loop, going from my SD card to flash. I set the turbo button on my third party 6 button controller to off and now it works fine.
