NEO2 Twin not working

I recently got a Neo2 Twin cart to use with my GBA SP. The problem is that it's not working properly.

First off; I've tried this on two computers - one running Vista 32-bit and the other running Windows 2000. I've used two different Slimloader IVs, and two different versions of the Neo2 Ultra Menu (2.82 and 2.93). The Neo cart that came with my MD Myth works just fine with these setups, but not my new Neo2 Twin.

When I plug it in and start up the Ultra Menu, the program says it can't recognize the cart properly and that I should check the connection or format the cart. So I go to the "format" tab, select GBA/DS, Standard format, hit the button and wait.. Once the format is finished, the Ultra Menu fails to write the menu loader and says something like "System Initialize failed". Then it's just the same thing over and over; cart fails to be recognized and I can't put any ROMs on it.

I don't have any SD card or anything plugged into the cart - it's just Neo2 Twin -> Slimloader IV -> PC.

After some more tests I notcied the following things:

I can format the Neo2 Twin with an MD Myth or N64 menu, but if I choose GBA/NDS as the menu type it fails.

If I do a standard format instead of fast format for the menu I get an USB timeout at around 19% done.

Still not working. Same error as before:

"System initialize failed! Please check the link of NEO2 or format it!

This card can't use ROM FAT, just can MENU burn!"

I've tried formatting a bunch of different carts as NDS/GBA to look at the info recorded in the menu flash (like the psram enable codes on the Neo2-SD). It's always failed for me as well. I guess more people use these for the Myth series than for their original purpose!
 

However, I think whatever bug cropped up in the NDS/GBA code needs to be looked at. Their probably still are folks who wish to use this on their NDS/GBA.

It´s not just the Neo2 Twin card, I have the same problems with my 1024M Neo2 Lite card
