Hello,

I have a PAL Turbo Grafx but there is no option to write to a PAL model on the Neo 2 Pro Manager.  How can I write games so they can be read on a PAL system?

Write them as US, your european TurboGrafx should play them just fine (there never were any real PAL versions of any TG games that I know of).

I've already tried that and unfortunately it doesn't work.   Can anyone else confirm/deny this using a PAL system?

I tried Parodius on my european TG just a few minutes ago. Burned it as "USA".. worked without any problems (well, except of course that it plays pretty slow since it was designed to be played on a 60 Hz system).

Are you using the latest Neo 2 Pro Manager to burn the game?  Could you please post the steps you have taken in order for the game to work?

Yes, the latest version (1.03). I didn't do anything special.. Just added the game, set the region to "USA" and burned it.

Well it works about 1 time in 10 if I take out/reinsert the cart.  The machine is absolutely fine as it plays all my games with no problems, so the card must be at fault.

I bought the card at ic2005.com, what are chances they will let me get a refund/replacement?

Eventually? 100%. Within a month? 0%. They're very slow at responding to issues. I wish some other retailer would pick up the NeoFlash products... and offer better prices. The markup on a single unit from IC2005 is almost criminal.

You might try putting a label strip on the reverse side of the pins to make it press more firmly against the connector. That often works with GBA flash carts that seem to work only "1 time in 10".

BTW, you should use a rubber to clean both side golden finger, seems it's a slight connection issue if you can make it work even once time, then mean is not the HW issue.

2 weeks ago we just get a 64M PC-E cart which user send back for us checking, we just use rubber to clean the golden finger , then everything working well and ship back.  ~sm-86.gif~.gif

Cleaning the fingers didn't help.  The USB Slim Loader IV connection is so loose that it hardly stays connected to the USB slot as well.

so you can try to use one USB 2.0 extension cable to work with it if just the USB port loose.
