Who wants to petition sony?
« on: October 22, 2005, 05:38:49 AM »
this 4gb firmware limit really irks me, sony has more or less crippled the PSP so it can only be used on THEIR terms, and in ways THEY allow, im not complaining about anti piracy measures, im complaining about the difficulty they are creating in regards to homebrew development and now storage, sony is well behind in capacity and price with its MS range, so they make sure others cant provide what they wont.

LOL petition to get higher than 4gb? sure go ahead I bet they will listen. they will release the 4+gb firmware when they release 4gb+ memory stick or harddrive(rumor).
email sony and tell u want higher than 4gb+ support. What will you answer if they question "why do you want higher than 4gb+?"

I want to run copied games and movies......
sure they will listen to you

How about my music?! I've filled my ipod to 12.45GB, now you said that the PSP would replace it but it hasn't **** storage at buttrape prices.  The vid pod coming out at the price 4.5 gigs of MSPD.
But f* $ony those bitches will get theirs. Don't waste your energy just become a target. Hopefully somebody is developing a hardware mod so that everything WE want CAN and WILL be done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i really have legit reasons for wanting more than 4GB of storage, movies (which i own) and music (most of which i own)

i havent even considered pirating games for the PSP yet, i bought it in anticipation of being able to use it as a media device.

Why not just wait for someone to make custom firmware?  There is no way I will use the Sony firmware forever, people are already working on it.

Until then, you just have to suck it up, because Sony won't do ****...
