Hmm will there not be USB support (I thought it would since it had 2 USB ports but it's not mentioned in the details... I want USB option...)? Also why is the memorylimit 4gb? I thought you could use fat32 with the PSP...
Hmm... Well...

Wow, alot more than I expected from this device! And the fact that it will allow you to hold the PSP more comfortably is a great feature just on its own.

Well, its finally come.. slight problem, its very ugly! I was thinking maybe something that clips onto the umd slot, not a giant padded thing... I have so say i'm kind of depressed you picked this as your design, and only 4gb of storage at once? I remember atleast 32gb being able to be used when you last spoke?!
I have to say I think im passing on this, I'll wait for the USB one and if its the same im going to have to reshape the whole thing and fibreglass it a new case! I cant have this on my psp, waste of space!
Sorry guys I feel let down, I guess some people are happy but that design is ****.
thanks for all the hard work, but no thanks. DECIM8

4GB MAX!, is it a PSP hardware or firmware problem? i could see it being the second, since it would force us to upgrade firmware when larger MS media comes out. couldnt be a hardware problem, since it would essentially cripple the PSP as a media player.
I thought youd tested the v1.1 board with a 6gb microdrive and it worked fine? this really presents a problem, id been practicly salivating at the prospect of using a 1.8" - 2.5" HDD (since ATA is essentiall identicle to CF) this really is a huge letdown,

4 gb is because the psp file sythem is FAT not FAT32. ok the psp can read a MS Formarted with FAT32 but if u try to run a homebrew an a FAT32 stig it will fail...

I have to admit, I do like the fact that it was integrated into a hand grip (That was what I was thinking of doing if I could make such a beast). The thing that turns me off though is that there is no USB support. Also I know it has been stated that 4GB is the max above, but I thought this was tested with 6GB and it worked fine. Oh well, it seems to be a great product, but I think I might wait on this. I was really hoping for more than 4 GB of storage.

First post here, followed a link from psp-hacks.com
I don't see why everyone is whining about no USB 2.0, just get yourself a mem stick reader for $10 and use that. Maybe you guys have different ideas but I see this as a great deal.
I've already got a 4gb and a 2gb CF card for my D-SLR camera so I can just use one of those, that saves me from having to buy a bigger MS Pro Duo stick (a 2GB is $150, more than this device), also now I don't have to buy one of those cases with extra battery life built in, so that's something else I was gonna buy until I saw this. So now I have all of what I want, extra memory (essentially free since I already have it), extra battery life, and an ergonomic handgrip (last I checked function over form still applies).
Also, Dr.neo said this in another post:
"But we have some hardware matter the USB 2.0 host part, need to find a solution still. And not sure when can finish the USB function,i think the SD/MMC/CF version will release first, then need to waiting for solve the USB host issue."
so you guys are still gonna get your USB 2.0 version, just be patient.
I'll be adding myself to that pre-order list. Great product! keep it up!

OK, so in that case, i can use a microdrive bigger than 4gb if its formatted with fat32, the PSP firmware will recognise it, BUT homebrew apps wont run from it?
Will i be able to play media files from it say Mp3's and the psp videoformat (Mp4?) because thats all i want it for at the moment.
