Hey guys. I too am new, and after hearing about Xecuter's decision to shift their concentration to 360, I gave up on them. However, I heard about you guys and am looking forward to this release. I think that $30-$50 is a fair price for this device. Adding USB support may cost more, but I am not going to venture there because I know for a fact that I won't be using it. Also, just to clarify, the device is gonna support SD/MMC as well as CF, right? I do have a couple CF cards, but they are 128 and 256 cards. I have some larger SD's though. I also know that a 1GB SD card is available quite commonly for $60.

There are so many factors into deciding on how much it is worth to me first off how durable do you plan on making it.

will it be attachable to the psp without "jerry rigging" it

USB slots and so on are great but how to optomize the size of the device

most USB type memorystick readers are a bit large with a single reader and a USB port some users will feal the CF reader could be next to useless and have to dabble with usb devices

I think if you just sold the unit for a *reasonable small* profit, enough units would sell to be good for neo.

Keep in mind we still have to buy the PSP and the flash memory, too, you know  :-\

150 is good for me because this way they could include a good read/write speed and it wouldnt take so long to load icons and games and all.

Well, the thing itself sure does do a lot. However, IMO so many functions are kinda (Don't want to offend) useless. I wouldn't be angry if they decided to cut back on some features. to release it cheaper. I personally am only interested in the CF slot adapter (Because it has the cheapest flash cards if I want flash, and the only option for mobile hard drive cards, 4GB starting for 75 bucks. It also has an adapter for almost every other connection, be it Memory Stick [Regular, not Duo] or even USB) and secondly the power extending option. I'm under the impression that right now, USB 2.0 with large >4GB hard drives are nothing but a pipe dream. The PSP can only recognize so much memory at a time, perhaps because Sony does not see the worth in adding more since their Memory Stick Duos aren't expected to reach more than 4GB of storage any time soon.

In short, I feel like I'm paying $100 for something that does way too much.
