Commercial roms with PassMe?

I recently saw in some reviews of the NeoFlash kit that it is able to run commercial roms.

And if I have understood everything correct the NeoFlash magic key is pretty much the same thing as a PassMe.

So what is stopping one from running commercial roms on the PassMe?
Someone just have to code a loader / patcher right?

Or is there any differences that prevents the Passme from running the roms.

(Btw. I dont know if the NeoFlash team want discussion of this sort in their forums. If that is the case I am very sorry and please remove this post)

the magickey is NOT what makes the roms run, in fact you can flash the DS with flashme and completely forget about the magickey.. still, the roms only run off the neoflash gba cart at this time.

There are GBA-save patched versions. It's somewhat less reliable though.
NDS-save use an official card but require the correct chip size.
PassMe/MagicKey let through the NDS save access without altering.
