NDS APP - beup
« on: August 19, 2006, 11:55:43 PM »
beup :: an MSN client for the Nintendo DS (http://akzeac.blogspot.com)
Beup is an MSN client that implements chat (send IMs), avatars, presence info and setting, contact lists and states, Inks (drawings), typing notifications, message timestamp, emoticons and sounds. It uses antialiased Truetype font, which allows display for many UTF-8 special characters (like Latin/Greek/Cyrillic/Maths scripts). And it' s GPL! :)

How to use
Just put it somewhere in your cart and load it.

Buttons
A means OK (Accept/Update/Open chat/Send message)
B means Cancel
X means Close Tab
L + R to navigate tabs (left, right tab)
Left, Right to navigate within text. You can also use the stylus to position the cursor in any arbitrary position.

Why not? :) This was the first forum I entered when I became a DS devver. My first DS project was here to ask for an MK2 :D

About the USB Wifi Lib, you'd have to ask sgstair, he's the one writing the wifi stuff we all use.  ::sm-22.gif::

Try the threads at forum.gbadev.org. That is a topic that has been repeatedly discussed, you can try the approaches there. It's most likely a wifi misconfiguration.

i have not yet found a solution to help me to use beup

i have set-up the wfc config with mario kart and my supercard
but when it keeps on auth. then failed when i run the beup

i have tried a homebrew named WiFiSetup v0.2 Binary + Source.rar, but i cant solve my problem as well

Nice app, good functionality and nice design. Few bugs and missing a few things though.

I had a list of suggestions and bugs here too but I moved it to the GBADEV forum. http://forum.gbadev.org/viewtopic.php?p=99453#99453

Holy sh*t! This app rocks!  :-*
(Can you add support for Japanese texts?)  :-\

Sorry, may I ask how you created the screenshots? For my homebrew I always have to take a photo  ::sm-03::
