Pokemon Keeper
« on: March 20, 2007, 01:30:16 AM »
This is my entry for the NEO Spring Compo 2007

Pokemon Keeper is a puzzle game (Bejeweled/Zooo clone) for PSP.

To capture Pokemon, you have to align 3 of them horizontally or vertically.
Pokemon Keeper involves three different modes  : Normal, Capture, and Time Attack.

Excellent job. So far you look like you'd win.

As always, I will tell you what you can improve:

BG Music- It doesn't seem puzzle game friendly.

Graphics- Amazing. You could edit the logo a tad bit to get the rest of the unecessary white out. Try to make "Keeper" the same font as "pokemon." The two brown/tan pokemon confused me while playing. Its your choice to get rid of one or keep it. It adds a nice challenge.

Menu- Beautiful. I'd add a custom game option.

Controls- They're perfect. You have plenty more buttons you can owrk with though. You could use the select button to change tracks.

Other- You could add an options menu with the help option in it. You could add a music and sound effect volume adjuster there. You could even allow people to use their own music and make playlists. You could add multiple pokemon sets or even allow mods.
