Slash-N-Flash V3
« on: August 19, 2007, 08:15:05 AM »
Nickname: Slasher
Project Name: Slash-N-flash
Division: PSP APP
Original Enter: Yes
In last NEO Compo this project won in the top 10: No

Project description:
This is basically a generic flasher which can flash whatever files your heart desires. I've tried to make the process as simple and noob friendly as possible.

You can flash anything from individual files neatly organized as you wish, all the way up to entire themes also organized as you wish. You can also save precious flash space for themes with the click of a button - backing up your files as well.

The customizations available to your PSP are endless.

In case you're completely oblivious to what 'Flashing' even is, I've included several examples in which you can modify the appearance of your PSP. Enjoy.

The key to this program is user choice. YOU, as the user; chooses what he or she wants to do.

DOWNLOAD

Here's a ThemePack. just read the included readme for instructions.

No sorry I haven't made a 3.40 theme pack. My theme pack was only made with 3.52 in mind.

It's pretty simple to add your own themes though. Just go to evolvexmb.com, download the theme of your choice, then make your own data.txt with the corresponding files!
You might even be able to get away with using the data.txt supplied with all the other themes, you just have to edit out certain files like,
pspbtcnf.bin, "flash0:/kn/pspbtcnf.bin";
pspbtknf.bin, "flash0:/kn/pspbtknf.bin";
pspbtlnf.bin, "flash0:/kn/pspbtlnf.bin";

Pretty straight forward!

You can have previews for your themes. You just have to stick a screenshot in the corresponding theme folder and name it the same as the current theme folder.

For example,
./Themes/Awesome Theme/Awesome Theme.png
