In last NEO Compo this project have won in the top 10: YES (4th of Neo Summer Coding Compo 2008)

Box Destroyer is a PSP clone of the flash game "Totem Destroyer" by Gabriel Ochsenhofer. It's a physics-based puzzle game with 14 levels, to win you must destroy the required number of blocks in each level without letting the little blue block(s) fall into the ground. Click on a white or green block to destroy it (blacks blocks cannot be destroyed).

recoding all the game with JGE++ engine

awesome!! I loved the first one. would really love it if u added a level editor :)

Hi,

You can make levels with inkscape,

download with template:
http://9giga.sfr.fr/n/50-17/share/LNK81934a8e959f3f893/

open it and create the level with the pre-created shapes (CTRL+C and CTRL+V for create copy of the selected bloc), and you can't use rotation

go to File->Document Metadata

modify the description text box like this:

my_level_name my_pseudo box_to_destroy=N

all separed by one space, if the level name or your pseudo must have space replace it with "_" and N will be a number

and finaly save it in "Res/Levels/my_level_name.svg"

thnx for the info mate. will definitely give it a try.. any plans of adding a level editor to the actual game though? :)

now, i'm on an other homebrew game that take me all my free time (i would  release it for this compo but i can''t finished it in time  :'()  so level editor in game for BoxDestroyer isn't planned, sorry

the new game looks great. what is the object of the game? is it a physics based game?  also, if u need anyone to help test, let me know ;)

ok, thnx for the info.. I was hoping that it was physics based :)
