I have 2 issues that I can not solve.

1) I can only get 1 game to work each time I flash my 512mb cart.
I have tried swapped the order of the games, and only the game that starts with the green light switch works!
Its the same with the older versions.
The first time I flashed the cart it worked with 2 games(including a 256mb rom)!!

2) I still can NOT flash 256mb roms, or bigger anymore..
Why?

When I choose to have a BOOT N64 MENY instead of the RUN N64 GAME option, I only get to play an emulated version of galaga for PC engine?????

How do I get 2 games to work, & how do I get big 256mb or bigger Roms to work???
After format I only have 507mb.
I used to have 512mb of space before & could flash a 512mb rom.

Could anyone please take a look at this, as I think the cart or memory may be defect.

Hi Taxititan,
Your problems sound similar to this thread:-
http://www.neoflash.com/forum/index.php/topic,5948.0.html
The problem seemed to be related to Windows 7 (and possibly Windows Vista?) So I would try formatting the NEO2 cartridge on a Windows XP PC if you can.

Also, I just tried burning two ROM's using the new NEO2 Ultra Menu V3.02, and I was able to switch between the two ROM's with no problems.

When burning two ROM's you must add both at the same time, before you click 'N64 Burn'. Here's a short guide to adding two games to the N64 Myth Cart that might help:-

1) Connect up the Neo N64 Myth Cart to your PC and launch 'Neo2 Ultra Menu'.

2) In the 'N64 Myth' section use the 'Clr ROM' button to clear all currently listed roms.

3) Add two small N64 games, such as Super Mario 64 and Blast Corps.

4) Select the correct save types for each game:-
http://n64.icequake.net/mirror/www.elitendo.com/n64/usa_boot_save_list.html
Use the drop down menu box under the 'Save' column, both Super Mario 64 and Blast Corps use 'EEPROM 4Kb', so select that save type for each game.

4) Leave the bottom right option as 'RUN N64 GAME' and then click 'N64 Burn'

5) When its finished burning and verifying put the cartridge into the N64 with an original 'standard' 6102 boot cartridge and turn on the N64 console.

6) See if one of the games boot up.

7) Turn the N64 console off, flick the switch on the top of the N64 Myth Cartrdge and turn the N64 console back on.

7) Hopefully the other game has now loaded up?

Good luck  :)

I had the same problem.   I was finally able to get one rom booting but could not make the switching work at all.  From reading other threads, the software does not work correctly on Windows 7 or Vista.  If you have access to a system with Windows XP try formatting your card on that.  I had to use VMWare with an XP image in order to get two roms properly installed and running.  Neoflash really needs to update their software to work on modern operating systems.

Thank you very much for the info!
It worked perfect on my old Windows XP computer, but not on my Vista!

Also tried some big 512 mb games, like Ocarina of time Debug version, & resident evil 2 including expasion pack detection.
It worked perfect!
I used the z64 versions

Thanks a 1000 one more time for your perfectly made RGB mod on my N64.
Tell me if you find a way to the overclock switch mod, on my older revision N64 without the risks of overheat, & I would pay what ever price needed to make one.

Cheers
Jonatan

Hello Dr.neo!
No matter which version of Neo2 Ultra Menu I use, I cannot format to GBA/NDS.  ::sm-02::
Is the actual version of Neo2 Ultra Menu for MD/N64/SNES only?

It wont work with just emulating XP in VISTA, or 7.
You have to run it in an installed XP OS.

Just want to let Dr. Neo know that I am holding off on buying the new SFC cart AND the N64 cart until I see some software written to interface with Mac OSX.  I will buy both on the day I see this..     Please hurry!!   ~sm-43.gif~

Glad to see that software was made for the PCE flashcart.  I love it!!   ;D

I can confirm that GBA support is still broken in 3.02. I have cart type 5.
I cannot format it to GBA with 3.02/3.01/2.99/2.95.

I can format it with 2.93 perfectly and it works in my NDS.
If formated to GBA with 2.93 the Neo2 isn't recognized in 3.02, it asks to reformat.

Seems like the GBA/NDS function got lost since Neo2 Ultra Menu 2.95  :'(

Dr.neo can you please take a look at the code?
I am sure there are still people who want to use the card for GBA/NDS.  ~sm-41.gif~
