yeah there is no multirom menu, F2Awriter even tells me that it didn't copy any since I only flashed one rom. So the white screen comes directly but then comes the game boy logo which is wrong.

This guy here has a 64 M F2A cart, and it looks like cory's gba version menu worked for him (it looks like he flashed it directly).

If you are doing everything the same way, and it's still not working, then maybe your mk2 is defective after all.

If I remember right there were some bugs in the "single rom" method used by 2.50. Unfortunately F2A coders pretty much quit updating their software, and left it in a very very sad state.

Yes, if you put homebrew nds like the bootmenu on there and it did not write the multiboot, then the Nintendo/GBA logo screen should come up but be corrupted (since the GBA header of homebrew does not have the correct GBA logo in it to put it properly on the screen)

Im at a loss though. It may be a problem with powerwriter 2.50, I have never had a problem putting a single/fake .gba file onto my F2Au 1gig with 2.61

Have you tried the powerwriter/gba linker diagnostic menu?

It's normal to see "Error" on SRAM before you start the test. It says "error" because it hasn't tested it yet.
Seeing an error during or after the diagnostics test should make you worry.

Sorry first of all...for asking a noob question. I have a NDS NU411*****[4]
Which of the kit that i need to buy inorder to make it work, because i am confuse for NEO FLASH and NEO MAX?? what are the difference...?

If your screens turn yellow or magenta, then you have a newer ds that is not initially compatible with mk1/mk2/mk3.  You need to buy a Passme2 device (plus a gba flashcart) to add compatibility (by installing the flashme firmware on your ds).

The neoflash is the older product that is no longer supported (mk1 + Slimloader flashcart reader basically).

The neo max is the most current product (magic key 3 + 512 mb neomax flashcart).  This would be the one to get if you are interested in a set that includes a flashcart.  This set is limited, though, in that it cannot run roms larger than 512 Mb directly from the cart (currently, 1 gig roms do NOT work from the sd card, so that's one consideration)....

Ok ok...

I've got a new white Ds Lite and a Magic Key 2 too(and a GBA flash cart too)..
If i want to flash my new Lite with V7,according with this thread, i will not be able to do it with magic key 2 ,don't  i?.

To do it i will need a passme2,allright?.

yes, you need a passme 2 device, such as m4-mini, passcard 3, superkey, etc...

The benefit of having mk4-mini is that it will work with your mk2 directly (no need to flash your ds lite).

There is also a mk4 sd and a neo2 flashcart coming in the next few months (they will likely have much better speeds and compatability than your existing mk2)

hello everyone!!im new here.. please help me with my problem...
i have a nintendo ds lite(white..japan)
i tried firmware test(magenta)
i purchased MK3 2006 kit..
at first my sd card has already had 2 files(AntareX.nds,NEO_MK2_3_Menu_V0.6 - BETA 1.nds)
so i just only put some nds roms..
then,when i insert the neo flash cart,mk3,sd card and ds cartridge(sawaru) and turn on my NDS it only turns to white screen!!
what should i do?
is there any ds cartridge game required? or
iNEO MK4-mini is only answer to my problem?
