Only real difference I can see is that one has some save chips and a battery + SD slot instead of CF slot.
Rest seems kinda the same (isn't the GBA menu an exact copy?) --> Isn't the menu of the GBAMP the same as that of the M3?

The Menu is the same on both M3 and GBAMP but it says M3.
The battery alows you to save and then is more built in memory for the game.

otherwise they are just about the same

Thanks again for the video! Really nicely done :).
Do you (or anyone else) have acces to a M3 CF to make pic's of the insides from?
I'm really wondering what it looks like, and can't find any pics :(.
I wonder if the menu is the same, the code of it is the same too (or at least, if the chips they use are the same and the pcb layout is too, not counting the Sram of cource), don't think so , but who knows :).

well the M3 CF is almost the same as the SD but the chips are in different parts.

It does use the same menu but you cant play NDS Roms on the GBAMP.
That thing has trouble with NES still and almost working with GB.

You can't play NDS roms in GBA mode with the M3 correct? Are they using the same chip as on the GBAMP on the M3 CF (the microcontroller)?
I'm also wondering if the flash chip is on the same location on both the GBAMP and the M3 cf.

I can show you a video of a GBAMP running a "backup".

Choose your game (old SDK, MKDS will not run, MP:H will not too)
I can even write myself on a paper some words so you can actually see it me, just tell me exactly what to do in the video, i will show you it's not fake.

if the guy that made the video was some smart ass.
He could have taken out the inside on the M3 and put it in the GBAMP to make it run.

The M3 and GBAMP are TOTALLY different.
look for a inside picture on google or something.

If you were willing to do that LiraNuna, that would be great (if not only to kill the damn myth that it isn't possible).
If you want to show Boblen that it's really a GBAMP, you open it up just after/just before playing the rom (but that's up to you, since I'm sure it's possible already :D).
Google can't find any images btw boblen.
