New Features

Since it's a feeback section, I assume that this is ok to post.

I think it's doing good so far.  But a couple of suggestions.
-Allow for hiding of folders that begin with one dot (my linux machine will put a .trash folder on the card and it's just annoying to see while browsing, it would also allow programs to "hide" data from the browser so it wont clutter up the display)
-Allow the menu system to flash a gba game to the cart and also allow it to boot from there to the gba game.

and as always, better compatability with homebrew game loading.

I am hoping for better compatability with SD-cards. I havent been able to use it since Menu 0.4 which plays few games and is not able to save. 0.3 can save but with even less compatability of games.

Is there any progress at all with the menu? I use kingston 512MB SD-card.

There's a significant menu rewrite going on now, which will apparently include mk2/mk3/mk4.  So hopefully this will be the version which fixes a lot of the nagging issues.

that's the best thing I've heard in quite a while-- let's hope they follow through!  I'm already kinda bored w/ my mk3 to be honest b/c most of the games don't work, with or without a patch.

There's a mk4-mini rom patcher in the works, plus a new menu for mk2/mk3 (hopefully will all be released at the same time).

Hi,

Now that the mini patcher was released today, what is the chance of the new menu also being released? I would love to be able to use my mk2 again.

Fingers Crossed.

so do I *crosses fingers too*

Dr. Neo said a new GST patcher will come out soon too, it might support the MK2/3 actually, along with the new menu  ::sm-19.gif::

I'm waiting for Dr. Neo to elaborate on this new gst-patcher...  Last thing I heard from him was a new mk2/mk3 menu coming out around the same time frame as the mk4-mini patcher...
