Project description:

Codename Hacker is a puzzle game, originally from the Atari Lynx.

Chip would do anything for Melinda the Mental Marvel. More than anything because
he wanted to join Melinda's exclusive computer club - the Bit Busters. So you can
imagine how Chip felt when Melinda sat down next to him in the school cafeteria
and offered him membership... on one condition.

You have to collect a set amount of chips on every level, not necessarily all of
them.

START                      : Pause and play level
A, B, L et R               : Nothing ;-)
Pad, Stylet or motion card : Move Chip in each level (tested with Neoflash R6
                              and DS Motion cards.)

You can also send scores with WIFI on my site portabledev to compare your skill
with others players ^^. You must go in the OPTIONS menu to do that.

WARNING : no save on MK5, it hangs the game and I don't know why (the dldi driver pb perhaps).

All others informations are in the readme.txt file.

I put only the .nds file in the zip because the file is too big otherwise.

Enjoy !

no motion control, of course YES Dr Neo  ;D !!! and it is write in the projet presentation :
Quote
Pad, Stylet or motion card : Move Chip in each level (tested with Neoflash R6
                              and DS Motion cards.)

Just have a look , when you will test it, at the first screen, you will see that the game requests that you insert it if you've got one.
I've tested it with the R6 and the nds motions slot1/2, it works fine.

fantastic!

I've played the gba homebrew port of this game, however this version utilises the good power of NDS!

I do enjoy puzzle game such as
Elemental on the good old Atari ST (http://www.lankhor.net/jeux.php?jeu=5&menu=images), one of my all'time favourite !

Codename Hacker offers the same type of highly addictive gameplay and some of the levels are really tricky. My favourite game of the compo so far!

Is there a way to switch off motion control? I am using R6 and I find it hard to control with motion.

As said on the first screen, if you do not want motion control, just press B.
Enjoy :)

Oh yeah, if you wanted to include the ds.gba version, it'd be simple to include dsbuild.exe in the archive. People with slot two's should learn to use that anyway.

This is really good, alekmaul.  Chip's Challenge was always one of my favorite games on the Lynx--it's probably the best game of this type that I ever played--and this seems like a pretty great port (even has a extra set of levels?!).

I especially like the DOS-style graphics and the passwords since they fit the game perfectly.

PROTIP: Instead of entering your initials in the high score table enter the password for the level, that you you'll always have a password list for the levels you've played!

The Motion Card controls work surprisingly well, too, actually considering they were obviously just tacked on for now good reason.  Maybe you could have the character sprite changed to a rolling ball or something, though, when the player is using the Motion Card so that it makes a little more sense.

This is another one of those games that's calling on my to vote for it.  So hard to decide!

...word is bondage...

I also lost my card few days ago and I was really tensed after that because someone could hack my card. But later I contacted with my bank and they blocked it on my request. By the way, I found netspend customer service (https://netspend.pissedconsumer.com/customer-service.html) which also helped me so much with my card delivery. They have best customer service and I am really satisfied with them.
