neo pro 2 save problem

my save files aint on my sd card? i played mario kart 64 saved a game then played golden eye saved a game then went back to mario kart 64 and i had to start from scratch...its very annoying! shoudnt the saves be:
Mario Kart 64 (E) (V1.1) [!].eep
GoldenEye 007 (E) [!].eep
all that is in the save folder is last.run...wtf is that? lol
please make a atari jaguar flash cart!!!!!!!

Well, when I look in my /menu/n64/save directory, I see "Mario Kart 64 (USA).eep". When you select the rom in the browser, does the save ram field show "Save: EEPROM 4Kb" (press Z to switch info modes)? If not, use the CU/CD buttons to select the field and the CL/CR buttons to change it to that. If it does, then saving/restoring should be automatic. Is the SD card unlocked? Check the little slide knob on the right and make sure it's all the way toward the card edge. If it's locked, it clearly can't write the save file.

Also, which menu version are you using? There were a couple previously that accidentally broke saving. Make sure you have the latest menu (v2.6).

i was using v2.6b1 pal so i installed the other one v2.6b1 and now it works

i was using v2.6b1 pal so i installed the other one v2.6b1 and now it works

Why would PAL/not-PAL make a difference? The only difference is the letter "P" in the BIOS header. Very weird...
